J & P Seafood Reviews
Food has been good for years
Great seafood combo. Always clutch with the shrimp and crab legs combo. I wish they could open the same style restaurant in DC AND VA. THANK YOU FOR THE DELICIOYS FOOS
Yesterday decided I wanted a FLOUNDER hoagie I asked them not to add too much salt. That was the worst thing I had to say about them until now. Got home with my order to find I didn't have flounder. I think it was talapia but I'm not sure whatever it was it was not flounder and it was not a good piece of fish! Come on guys you if can't do the item as ordered don't serve it. I don't understand what happened in the kitchen but this is highly below STANDARD.

J & P Seafood is a local spot that serves seafood dishes, including fish hoagies. While some customers have enjoyed their food, finding it delicious, others have had mixed experiences. Some orders have arrived with mistakes, such as missing items or incorrect preparation. The restaurant has received criticism for its cashiers and cooks, with some customers feeling rushed and ignored. Specifically, one customer's order of '2 Broiled Crab Cakes over Pasta with Fries & Broccoli' was disappointing, with undercooked crab cakes, dry pasta, and bland broccoli. However, the portions are generally generous, and some items, like the fries, can be enjoyed with some creativity. The fried shrimp platter was delicious, but the fried flounder was not, with the fish cut too thin and fried too hard. Primarily a take out place, but they do provide some spares seating. Food is consistently good and the space is always generally above avg in cleanliness. J & P Seafood remains a local option for seafood lovers.
