We went there to try their coffee options and buy some merch with their name on it since my son and daughter-in-law just had our first grandbaby and named her Loretta ❤ so of course we wanted a T-shirt and hat and stickers with her name on it 😉
It's also so close to Penn's Landing and it kicked off a nice morning stroll down by the water.

I love this place. Get there early for the best pastry selection (I keep missing the cinnamon rolls😭). When it's busy, the waiting area feels very small, but that's a small price to pay for such good stuff.
This place is SO cute. Perfect place to grab coffee with a small group of friends and yap. (I’d say no more than 4 people max)

Loretta's is a charming bakery located next to Bloomsday, offering a bright and beautiful space with lovely outdoor seating. The bakery is known for its incredible pastries, including a sea salt chocolate chip cookie, cosmic brownie, cinnamon roll, and white chocolate pistachio danish, which are highly praised and often sell out quickly. The black and white cookie is also a standout, better than many found in NYC, and the apple crumble galette features great flavors without being overly sweet. While the pastries are exceptional and worth the higher prices, the egg sandwich received mixed reviews for its egg "patty" and difficulty to eat. The friendly staff and cozy outdoor area make Loretta's a popular spot for enjoying quality baked goods, especially on nice days.
