About Mona

Based on the reviews, Mona is a restaurant with a gorgeous atmosphere that feels very Greek, like restaurants and bars in Ios and Mykonos. The space is beautiful, with changing art behind the bar, and the ambiance is nice for a more upscale date night. The food is delicious, with standout dishes including the lamb over orzo, which is fall off the bone and melt in your mouth, the fillet kabobs lemon potatos, and the orange phyllo cake. The menu has very clearly marked gluten free options. The service experience is mixed. Some guests found the staff, including bartenders and servers like the lovely Tiffany, to be sweet, wonderful, and accommodating to special requests, with a manager who is kind. However, other guests experienced a bartender who seemed visibly annoyed and unwelcoming, and some staff members came across as dismissive. While the drinks are amazing and the happy hour has incredible deals, the food quality can be underwhelming, with a lack of flavor and poor meat quality reported by some. Overall, Mona has great potential with a beautiful concept and great atmosphere.
