Honestly, I just came to try and see what the hype was all about. To put it plainly this place is above average at best. Honestly, I'd just go to Terakawa over this place, It just ain't it.Shio Ramen:The good -1. Noodles for me were well above average.2. The egg was solid too.The Bad -1. The broth was about average.2. The meat was below average in flavor.
I'll be sad to see this place go, it's been a staple for me since I moved to Philly in 2017...I was hungry around 1am and it was one of a few places open lol. The ramen always slaps and I've cultivated some great friendships over hot, steaming bowls of broth and noodles. This is also the place that introduced me to Taiwan Mazesoba (brothless ramen, affectionately known as Maz here lol). Everyone that works here is a vibe, I truly love it here
noodles are excellent... the broth is not as amazing in comparison but I'm more of a tonkuto fan which they did not have on menu.proper well prepared ajitama/eggs and ingredients overall.paper menu is unclear, look at the board. The shoyu had a bit too much fish sauce.Shio broth was excellent and better rounded.
