Came here today for breakfast (veggie omelette + breakfast potatoes) and it was an excellent experience.A simple, no frills diner vibe, the food was delicious and it they use real, fresh ingredients. It felt like eating a home cooked meal at grandma’s house. The server/owner was SO sweet and friendly! I was really appreciative of how attentive they were to dietary restrictions (gluten free).Dietary restrictions: Gluten free (celiac)
I am not from Philadelphia but I wanted a Philly cheesesteak. Someone recommended this restaurant to me and they didn’t disappoint! The cheesesteak was so delicious. The best I’ve ever had actually. Ms. Maria has the best customer service ever. I didn’t want to leave!

I stopped by one day and ordered a breakfast sandwich, but made the mistake of assuming they took Apple Pay. I realized my mistake and apologized, ready to leave, but Maria insisted I take the food anyway and come back to pay when I could. She was incredibly kind and the food was fantastic. I came back a few days later to pay. Highly recommend New Town for their food and their sincerity!!
