Based on reviews, Ruby's Cajun is a hidden gem in Philadelphia offering spectacular seafood. The food is fresh, delicious, and seasoned well. Popular meals include the seafood boil with mussels, shrimp head off, and snow crab legs, as well as the 1/2 pound shrimp boil with the Ruby blend sauce. The shrimp boil comes with several shrimp, one entire potato, and a small corn on the cob. The wings are hot, crispy, and tender, much better than Popeyes or Wingstop. The lobster bisque is good but needs a bit of seasoning. The food improves when mixed well and left to sit. The restaurant is very clean, with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff is super sweet, kind, gentle, and extremely friendly. Service is exceptional and top notch. While prices are a bit high, the spot is definitely worth it.
