Scarpetta Philadelphia Reviews
Outstanding food and service
Fabulous dinner with colleagues - on our last night, free to go, in Philadelphia.
Started a walk to the Liberty Bell, followed by a walk to Comcast Technology Center, and The Four Seasons hotel 60-floor glass elevator ride. Enjoyed a cocktail and views at the top, and a walk around the square to Scarlett’s Philadelphia for dinner.
Outstanding service and fantastic food. Scarpetta never disappoints!
You owe it to yourself to have a meal here!
Menu
Scarpetta Philadelphia offers a delightful dining experience with a warm welcome, including a bread basket with spread options, which sets the tone for a satisfying meal. The menu features delightful choices, both classic and innovative, with standouts such as the beet appetizer and Agnolotti. The fish entree remains a popular choice for sharing, while the pasta is described as unforgettable. The service is very good, with attentive servers providing insight into menu items and wine pairings, although some guests have noted occasional lapses in attention. The atmosphere is fantastic, with stunning views of Rittenhouse Square and friendly staff creating a welcoming environment. Desserts, like the espresso budino and chocolate options, are a highlight, offering a sweet finish to the meal. The kitchen is accommodating, especially for gluten-free diners, with options like gluten-free bread provided pre-meal. Dishes are perfectly portioned and flavorful, offering good value for money, though some may find the pace leisurely at times. Overall, Scarpetta Philadelphia is an excellent spot for a romantic evening or special occasion, and many guests look forward to returning for both cocktails and meals upstairs.
