Shaxian Delicacies Reviews
Dining environment was below average. Food tastes were OK, but not fresh. It was very hot outside, but the server didn’t provide any water. When asked for water, she told us we needed to purchase bottled water. The server was wearing air bugs to watch phone videos all the time. We had to asked loudly a couple of times to get her attention. Will not go there again since there are so many other better choices in Chinatown.
Hidden gem! So glad we found this place, the shredded pork and rice noodles was delicious!
Shanxian Delicacies food offers a satisfying taste experience with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. Its specialty lies in comforting, homestyle dishes that highlight traditional Chinese culinary techniques.

Shaxian Delicacies offers a unique dining experience. While the restaurant's small plates, such as wontons and fish balls, showcase interesting flavors like sour broth with celery, the food can feel sloppily prepared and overly reliant on MSG. The fried taro cakes, however, are a highlight, with a crispy exterior and soft interior. The restaurant's old-school charm and homey vibe are appealing, and the portions are generous. Service can be blunt and to-the-point, but effective. Overall, Shaxian Delicacies is a great choice for those looking for a flavorful and filling meal.
