Our family has been going to this Greek restaurant for many years ... Tried other Greek places, but this one is still one of the best in Philly for authentic Greek meal and vibe! Love this place and always recommend.

Loved that this spot has several restaurants to choose from. Our dinner was made quickly and it was absolutely delicious! I got the gyro and my daughter got a poke bowl. I especially loved the crunchy chicken peas on my gyro!

Food is just okay and only worth it for the coupon discount. Sesame chicken was hard as a rock, vegetable lo mein was sodium soup and our Detroit pizza came without sauce and the wrong pizzas. Nothing was worth paying full price

Possibly the worst pizza I've ever had
Not crispy at all , wet and sloppy w ragu as the red sauce. Definitely won't order from here again

This is the second time that I order in this place and the second time that they don’t deliver the salads with the ingredients that I ask when I put the order in.

If you’re looking for authentic Greek food with real flavor and a welcoming atmosphere, Souvlaki Restaurant on South Street is definitely a place worth visiting. From the moment you walk in, the environment feels warm, relaxing, and full of culture. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home.
The food is absolutely amazing — fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meats, and portions that leave you satisfied. The souvlaki is tender and flavorful, the rice and salads are always fresh, and the homemade sauces bring everything together perfectly. Every dish tastes like it’s made with care and tradition.
What really stands out is the consistency. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, the quality stays top tier. The restaurant has that rare combination of great food, good energy, and authentic vibes that keeps people coming back.
If you’re on South Street and craving real Greek cuisine, Souvlaki Restaurant is a must-try spot. Definitely one of the hidden gems in the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Please, I'm begging, just go to a local restaurant instead of this venture capitalist nightmare.

Craving Italian food? L'Anima is 2 blocks away. Pizza? Paulie Gee's. Mexican? Loco Pez. Bagels? Bart's. Thai? Chatayee. Dessert? There are literally like 6 different places on East Passyunk.

But if overpriced, reheated food made in a giant cafeteria in North Jersey is your thing, go ahead I guess.

Ordered to go. Ready when I arrived. Wrapped in foil to retain heat. Wish I could share a picture! Stuffed with meat. Bargain for $10.

The food here is really great. I usually get Hummus and Tzaziki, with Falafel. And often the lemon potatoes (so good) and spanikopita. The food is very authentic, I am Balkan and it is very nostalgic and authentic flavors. You can tell everything is very fresh and made with lots of care. The staff is also very professional and the space is nice and quiet and classy.
