“House of Thai is a hidden gem in Mayfair! The owners are wonderful people that treat you like you’re family! The atmosphere is calm & relaxing & intimate! I’ve been going here for years & they never disappoint. They’re consistent in the flavorful, freshness of their food! I ordered pickup through Uber eats as I haven’t had them in a while & Of course they still didn’t disappoint. They were so quick with making the food! It came fast & was packaged with care! “I had a chronic urticaria last year, ever since then i have be visiting the clinic and taking different kinds of medicine but yet no improvement. “Absolutely incredible !!! Small place with a great vibe inside, and the food is just to die for. There were two other tables of people when we were there and they both told us how incredible this place is and the dishes they recommended and that they come here all the time. I'll definitely be back!! I had the sambal sauce Malaysian entree with shrimp and it was sooo delicious, and I usually am not a huge fan of shrimp but it was cooked so perfectly and fit the flavor palette so well. 5 stars!!!“

“Food is pretty good! Only ever ordered take out but so far they have never messed up our order lol. I enjoy the Koh Soi dish, the pad Thai and the iced tea. But for the love of god do NOT get the DUCK TACOS. Most disgusting thing I’ve ever ordered from a restaurant…. They’re basically small tortillas that are soggy and slimy from the hot, wet lettuce they’re filled with. And topped with tiny pieces of duck meat🤮My fault, however, for ordering tacos from a Thai place lol“

“i had the chicken spring rolls and spicy bamboo shrimp and i liked both. are they the best thai food i've ever had? probably not. did i enjoy this meal that came up to an whooping 15 bucks? absolutely! somehow this was my fav meal in philly so far including cc from multiple wellknown shops. this is what i call asian comfort food and can't beat the price in this economy. spring rolls were warm and crispy the filling not overly salty which i appreciated. the sweet and sour sauce was more sour than sweet which is exactly how i like it. will have to try other dishes soon. keep up the good work!“

I generally don't like to waste anything but was very little left really no reason to take home. There is a lot of variety and selection to try. “This is a very good combination Thai/Chinese restaurant however I think their menu is now abbreviated and they have stopped making the Thai dishes. I have had the Thai food and it was good but usually ordered Chinese dishes which are also very good. They now have very reasonable lunch and dinner specials with choice or rice and eggroll.
