Been here a couple of times - once with a friend and once for a corporate events. Both times were good! They have areas blocked off for sit down eating and also space in front of the bar to stand and mingle if you're just there for drinks/sports. For the corporate event we went to a smaller, more intimate space in the back where they had out a small buffet of food. The guac and dips were really good, as were the desserts - especially the cheesecake.
I went there for a birthday party and we were seated in the lounge. The decor of the lounge was outstanding, and it gave it a den/study feel. I'm not sure if that was done on purpose but a welcoming feeling nonetheless. The waitress was attentive and sought our every need. Did not order food. Decent beverage menu, competitively priced.

what an incredible refurbishment of a classic center city building!!!!!! the bar staff was great in every possible way including both johns and the beautiful young woman who was working with them on thursday night!!!!! the beer and booze selection is above reproach and just one piece of advice... if you like or love tullamore dew, don't drink the honey version
