Possibly the best restaurant I have eaten at in Philadelphia. Get the roasted chicken. The cocktail game was superb. The service was extremely good.

The food is incredible. Skip the large plates and get as many of the sharing plates as you can to get the most out of the menu. Food is absolutely incredible. Service is attentive but not overbearing. Lovely. Overall a wonderful experience. Atmosphere is ok. Minimal. But you go for the food, which makes up for whatever the atmosphere lacks.

The chef’s counter might be one of my favorite dining experiences in Philly. Our server was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and fun. We had so a wonderful cohesive set of courses, with perfectly paired wine. Absolutely a favorite spot.

Vernick service runs a tight ship. Most restaurants can’t achieve that smooth a delivery. And as for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed all dishes but here are my personal favorites: sea urchin, broccoli toast, tagliatelle & rack of lamb. Truly one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia. I usually do not like to spend real money on food in this city as it is not typically as good as neighboring metropolitan areas, however this is an outlier.We shared everything. They started the service off with a small butternut squash soup with a mini bread biscuit, this was outstanding. Brussel sprouts were incredible with great texture and uniform chili coating. The fettuccine mushroom bolognese was delicious. We opted for both fish dishes that night, which were wonderful. Ended on a dark chocolate brownie with milk chocolate ice cream.All together a great dining experience, would recommend.

What an amazing birthday dinner for my dearest. This place hit the expectations and beyond! Can we 1st talk about the impeccable service! From attentive to friendly and more! 1st we got a complimentary Amuse-bouche of butternut squash that was the perfect bite. Followed by 2 different toast appetizes...1 blue crab and 1 shrimp and was so beyond pleased! Savory but still light and fresh. Osso bucco and rack of lamb for dinner and again hit it out the park. Veal Osso bucco was served with a apple celery slaw that was so nice and light with a perfect citrus accent it, made what could have been a heavy meal feel light and balanced. That butter and veggies pared with the rack of lamb was also great compliment to eachother. And finished off with a passion fruit pavolva with coconut macaroons which was not too sweet and a delicious combo of flavors. Big A+ for this restaurant
