“You know what's good about Steel City Coffeehouse? Everything. The staff and ownership, the food and drinks, the whole vibe. The warmth and diversity in that space is unparalleled, and the opportunities the owners provide to the community are selfless in so many ways. The fundraisers, charity events, and local live performers that can stretch out their voices and have a place to be heard are met with open hearts and big smiles. I love this place. I've been to a lot of coffee shops and breweries - Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, Florida, Texas, Maine, Australia, England, Ireland, Honduras, Puerto Rico - I've seen a lot of people playing guitar, singing, harmonizing, rapping, married couples performing, folks collaborating with people they've just met, playing piano, reading poetry, and people here are genuinely supportive of the performer, regardless of genre, age, gender, color, or artistic style. You'd be hard pressed to find a place like this anywhere in the world, and we're fortunate enough to have such a special place for artists of all kinds, right here in our little town. Thank you Steel City. Also, I had the black bean burrito and a mocha the other day, and they were both fantastic.“

“Olga is the absolute best. My friend mentioned she was stopping by and as someone who's getting into kombucha, I figured I'd give it a shot. Everything was delicious, she slung samples like we were at a high-end bar, and was super friendly and open. This is going to be a weekly trek for me and my family!“

“I can't thank Greg Kluge and his team at Rebel Hill Brewing enough. Two weeks out from a large fundraiser, I called him needing a bar and staff for our event. He came through for us and went above and beyond, giving a portion of his proceeds back to the charity. These are good people who are always up for a good cause. I am happy to patronize this wonderful company. Thank you Rebel Hill.“

Root Down Biergarten Brewery • $$
425 Bridge St, Phoenixville

“We had a surprise birthday party for my brother there, and if I could give them 1000 stars, I would. Everything was great - the service, the food, the drinks, and they let us set up and do our thing in their really cool space on a Saturday night - it was priceless. Having ample parking in Phoenixville is also a huge plus. Mike and the crew at the TBD Bar were nothing short of fantastic, and the party went off without a hitch. Mike's communication throughout the planning process was great. Although we originally planned for it to be outside in the biergarten, his recommendation to move things inside prior to setup saved the day when the weather radar showed some inbound doom and gloom that night. Ultimately it ended up raining hard several times during the party so THANK YOU Mike! It couldn't have gone any better, and everyone had a great time. Also, Tom Guest was the perfect live music for my brother's 50th. He was a great fit!Highly recommend TBD Bar / Root Down Biergarten!“
