I've been to a lot of coffee shops and breweries - Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, Florida, Texas, Maine, Australia, England, Ireland, Honduras, Puerto Rico - I've seen a lot of people playing guitar, singing, harmonizing, rapping, married couples performing, folks collaborating with people they've just met, playing piano, reading poetry, and people here are genuinely supportive of the performer, regardless of genre, age, gender, color, or artistic style. You'd be hard pressed to find a place like this anywhere in the world, and we're fortunate enough to have such a special place for artists of all kinds, right here in our little town. “We had a surprise birthday party for my brother there, and if I could give them 1000 stars, I would. Everything was great - the service, the food, the drinks, and they let us set up and do our thing in their really cool space on a Saturday night - it was priceless. Having ample parking in Phoenixville is also a huge plus. Mike and the crew at the TBD Bar were nothing short of fantastic, and the party went off without a hitch. Mike's communication throughout the planning process was great. Although we originally planned for it to be outside in the biergarten, his recommendation to move things inside prior to setup saved the day when the weather radar showed some inbound doom and gloom that night. Ultimately it ended up raining hard several times during the party so THANK YOU Mike! It couldn't have gone any better, and everyone had a great time.
