“I don’t even know where to begin! Working with Rania & her staff was so easy, organized, and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!!!! She catered our wedding at The Pennsylvanian. Early on in the process, Rania invited us to her home & sat down with my parents & me to discuss the type of reception we wanted. She was very thorough with everything... from decor, to meal options, to alcohol selection. When it got closer to our wedding date, we had an extremely detailed meeting where we discussed the timeline of the wedding... almost down to every 15 minutes. She worked with us on menu selections & was extremely flexible when it came to mixing & matching items. Then — this weekend — the day we had been waiting for! Everyone always says to “make sure you eat” at your wedding, and I was absolutely making sure I did that!! The appetizers were absolutely amazing. Rania’s staff made sure to find my husband and me to make sure we got to try some during cocktail hour. Honestly - I could have eaten just the appetizers and been full!! My sea bass was cooked to PERFECTION, and the filet that my husband ordered was incredible. In fact... I kept sneaking bites of his 😬!! I also cannot say enough about our cake. We had two flavors - double chocolate & white cake/raspberry filling. I am counting down til our 1 year anniversary to when we can eat it again!!!! It was delicious. So many of our guests said that it was one of the best meals they’ve had at a wedding, which of course, we were thrilled to hear. As for Rania’s staff, Rania was making sure everything went smoothly & it absolutely did. Sydney was there for the entire night & was so helpful. She kept us updated on when she was putting gifts back into the bridal room throughout the evening, and kept checking in to see if we needed anything. She was so sweet, and so were all the other staff members & bartenders. Our night was absolutely perfect, and working with Rania & her staff helped everything go so smoothly. “We used Mark and his team for a 40th/Costume Party at the Mattress Factory a few months ago and we were beyond impressed. Not only was Mark wonderful to work with from start to finish, his entire team were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond throughout the duration of our event. The food was displayed beautifully (think a long banquet table with spreads of fruits, cheeses, small appetizers/dips, etc - like a mile long charcuterie display) - all were excellent and home made, even down to the salsa! There was an abundance of tasty food, all fresh, and all fantastic. Their pricing is very reasonable for around the City too. Thank you to Mark and his entire team who not only catered, but bartended our event as well. All was 5-star!!! Highly recommend!“

“AMAZING! I DJ weddings all over the country and I have found out over the years a venue is only as nice as the staff is. Salvatore's staff was incredible, they were on top of everything, thoughtful and helpful. I enjoyed working with them. Many times a catering staff overlooks the vendors, this was NOT the case here. After I set up and did a sound check I went over the flow of the day with Jenna and we were on the same page. The servers brought me a meal, I went to the bar and asked for juice to drink the bar tender asked me if I wanted a pitcher so I wouldn't have to keep walking to the bar. I hung a Custom monogram gobo in the ceiling to reflect on the wall, they got me a ladder and assisted me in hanging it. This venue is easily an 11 out of 10! the owners name is Vicky and she even called me and asked me if I wanted to store my equipment in the venue the night before the wedding because she knew I was traveling. I would recommend this venue to every bride in the Pittsburgh area and I can't wait to get back to Pittsburgh to DJ here again. Oh yeah, shout out to Vicky's husband for changing the power so my Speakers, Lights, Fog machine and sparklers were not on the same circuit. DJ Krazy T“

“Some of the best wedding food I have ever tasted and super affordable!!! Italian food that is super fresh. I got married in January and they were wonderful to work with.

Some of the highlights were:
Again the food was really yummy! I am sad I didn't get to eat more of it.
The owner, Kelly, was amazing at communication and replying to my emails if I had questions.
The biggest thing for me was they were very accommodating for people with allergies. I had a lot of people with different food allergies at my wedding and Kelly was able to make special plates for each person delivered right to their seat!

I had never heard of them or even been at any function that they catered - I literally picked them off of Google when the caterer I had previously booked, canceled my event. I had two weeks to find a replacement caterer for an upscale hot buffet lunch for a retirement party at our office. The food looked and sounded fantastic on their website, and the prices were extremely reasonable. I am so happy that I called them! Renee was great with communication and addressed all of our needs. Peggy and Crystal were our deliverers and servers. They were delightful! So pleasant, efficient, and helpful. They clearly care about their work. Now, for the food... We ordered filet with a mushroom demi-glaze, chicken marsala, roasted potatoes, grilled vegetable primavera in vodka sauce, broccoli, baby greens salad, Caprese mini skewers, and rolls/butter for 45 people. Everything was so fresh! The hot foods were hot, the cold foods were cold. Everything was packed with flavor and our whole office raved about the meal. Of special note, the filet was cooked to perfection and was so tender you could cut it with a fork! I haven't had a steak that good in a restaurant for years. The roasted potatoes were perfectly seasoned. The primavera in vodka sauce was incredible, and the salad was almost too pretty to eat. I could not be happier with my experience with Waterfall Catering and wholeheartedly recommend them. I will absolutely use them for future events. “Stumbled upon Albero Verde, when looking for a fine dining restaurant for our Anniversary that wasn't $50-100/ plate and was more accessible than downtown Pittsburgh....Albero Verde, did NOT disappoint. The owner and Chef, Anthony Pupo, introduced himself while delivering a small, unique tasting of a wonton with a twist. This small but mighty restaurant provided top notch service, an intimate dining experience, good music, the option of BYOB, and the FOOD was too die for. The wonderful waitress suggested that we split the Wedge salad, and I appreciated the suggestion as 1 was plenty for 2 people...but when she brought it out, they had plated it on 2 seperate plates for us, taking away the hassle of dividing the dish ourselves at the table. We then had the Octopus and Beans and Greens appetizers.... both delicious. For our main course, we had the Fran and Fudge (named after the Chef's grandparents) a HEALTHY sized bone in porkchop with brie and goat cheese pierogi and the Scallop and Langoustine Spaghetti... both excellent!
