“We got to sit in the small igloo tents, which with the little heater, made it cozy with the 4 of us. We stopped for the cool drinks we saw posted for them and they were tasty! The charcuterie board was delicious and a perfect pairing for the drinks! Our friends saw our videos and pictures and it's now a spot they want to visit. “What a sweet place to have a delightful meal! Emerson's is on the second floor, so if you're seated by the windows, you get a nice view of downtown that is really beautiful at night. There is a nice sized bar and a comfy fireplace spot as well. Our server was AWESOME! She was so knowledgable and sweet, and she KNEW we'd be addicted to the fried olives (I'm thinking about going back today just to get them again haha). Crab cakes were tremendous, and the pork chop came with a really great sage-y stuffing. The chocolate cake, which our server said was like as if a Fererro Rocher was a cake, was AMAZING. Cocktails were inventive and delicious, and the "bartender's pick" was a sweet surprise, too!“

“A spot that really delivers on its promise of unique food and a wonderful ambiance. We thought we had a reservation for Sunday of Valentine's weekend at 9 PM... turns out I reserved a month ahead of time for March 15th. But, they had a table available to accommodate us anyways! One of my favorite places now, certainly on the pricier side, but you will leave very, very full. I would recommend getting 1-2 things out of each section of the menu. This ran us about $195 for two people on a special night out, which is better than other classy spots around the city. Some of the flavor profiles I had in these dishes are unlike anything I've ever experienced before. My standouts were the grilled cabbage Caesar and the rainbow trout fillet. Both just incredible flavor experiences, and we were fighting to finish off that fillet as the final course.

Will be going back again and again! I hope the branzino will be available for our next trip!“

They consistently update the menu with new food and drink items that make us excited to return, while keeping some favorites that have been there since the restaurant opened. The ambiance and decor are classy yet fun, definitely instagrammable. The staff is very knowledgable, attentive, and warm. Can't wait to see their future food and cocktail creations.“

“Big open airy restaurant inside the hotel. Wonderful views of the river and downtown Pittsburgh. Angel was such a big help. Got to us with water and a wine/cocktail menu right away. The red blend and Big Electric Chair came quickly. Gave us time to enjoy the drinks and then came back for the order. Obviously the short ribs sucked. So bad I had to eat all of them so the chef would not be disappointed. I almost got a bite of the crème brûlée that my wife ordered. Thanks again Angel!“

Every dish was full of flavor and the textures were all beautifully done. Even the bread basket was amazing with maple butter. It felt like a 5 star dining experience for a reasonable person. I appreciate he then explained each drink's ingredients to us. The food menu is limited, but includes some great basic bar snacks like labneh and olives. The beet salad and the lobster Mac and cheese were phenomenal. We ordered fried green tomatoes as an app. It has a corn meal breading we didn’t love, so we only had 1 and didn’t want to box it. Our server removed it from bill and sent the manager over without us asking, (which I wouldn’t have) it just wasn’t our favorite.
