This is a wonderful family-run establishment that serves up incredibly fresh, delicious food. For a treat after your meal, enjoy a cup of Turkish coffee and a piece of rich, flaky baklava.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh and literally the best Turkish food I have ever eaten. Their hummus, baba ghanoush, and grape leaves are to die for (you can order all 3 in the triple appetizer for a more-than-reasonable price). I recommend the döner/gyro or salmon platters. I loved Daphne Cafe. They haven't been open in a while. Unfortunately I walked past yesterday and the interior is almost empty--clearly they are cleaning it out after closing. This is so sad--it was a lovely family-owned business with delicious food and an amazing staff. Another covid casualty, apparently.
