We had a great experience at Mezzo! They had so much room to accommodate our family. They had just changed the menu and all the food we had was fantastic! The chef came out afterwards and was so sweet. We definitely will be going back the next time we're in Pittsburgh!
We went with another couple on St. Patrick's Day weekend. So the place was lively, with Irish music playing overhead. But not so loud that we couldn't hear each other talking. Our waitress Emma was excellent. The entrees were generally in the $25-30 range. We all enjoyed our meals (beans & greens, ravioli, shrimp & scallops), but the portions were a bit smaller than what we had expected. We recommend the rice pudding. Stopped by for lunch. Everything is balls. If you do not like meatballs of any kind this is not the place for you. Service was excellent. Food was overall good. Drinks were delicious.
