Sub Zero Ice Cream Reviews
Amazing ice cream, fantastic service, clean store, cool and fun vibe! This place is AWESOME!
I just had subzero tonight at the Baldwin Highlander football game. The vanilla with reese cups was very good. But the highlight was the dragon breath. I have orange creamsicle. It tasted just like trix cereal. Super cool.
We went here with the kids and they were able to accommodate all of our allergy concerns. They even showed the kids a fun show with frozen gummy bears.

Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream is a welcoming spot with friendly staff, top-quality ice cream, and a fun experience for everyone. Customers can create their own unique flavors and add toppings, with popular options like Chocolate Conduction and the incredible birthday cake flavor, which features real cake pieces. The regular-sized custards are surprisingly large, and the prices are reasonable. The owner is very kind and welcoming, making the overall experience enjoyable. The ice cream-making process involves liquid nitrogen, which creates cool smoke effects that everyone finds fascinating and adds a fun theatrical element. The staff are extremely patient and friendly, explaining the menu multiple times and offering to make a new ice cream if a customer doesn’t like the flavor. The shop also offers vegan flavors made with plant milk that taste wonderful, with options like chocolate, mocha, peanut butter, and Oreo. Portion sizes are big, so it's easy to be satisfied after just a small. Customers can sit inside or walk around while eating, and many appreciate the hospitality and the enjoyable process of making ice cream. Overall, this spot is a great place to enjoy delicious, customizable ice cream and support a small business. East Liberty is lucky to have such a unique spot, and many customers consider it their go-to ice cream spot in Pittsburgh.
