Everything about the Allen Street Grill is well detailed, from the welcoming ambience, to the impeccable and friendly service, to the well curated wine and cocktail collection, and the creative and talented kitchen. This is THE place to dine in State College.”

“Their food is delicious and there's no question about it. We ordered a Mutton Biryani and Lamb Kabob Bowl. However, there was so much rice in both and less meat, so we found the meat was not sufficient to eat the rice. If Cafe Alina wants improve its services, think about our comments and take some remedial measures. Thanks!”

“Teadori is a fun mix of tea shop, a quick bite to eat and great place to chill with friends. The owner and his mom run this place well. Kind, welcoming, authentic. The Pho was outstanding. We really appreciated the time to sit and play games after lunch. A perfect spot to meet your Penn State student for lunch!”

“A Pakistani guy was selling authentic halal food - really tasty and reasonably priced. Lots of options (chicken or lamb), with rice and fries. I was in State College for a day, tried it for dinner, and I’d definitely recommend it.”

“What a great family, small town restaurant with BIG portions and bigger hearts! We met the owner, Greg, in town. What a genuinely nice guy. His daughter Hanna, is part of the team! We ordered the wedge. Its a sandwich made with pizza dough. It was too big to eat in one sitting. The special was buy a wedge get fresh cut fries free. The basket of fries was huge too! Definitely worth the money!”

“I like the place and the service, but the music was way too loud. It makes it hard for anyone to read or focus on anything. If people want loud music, they can always use their headphones, it doesn’t need to be that loud for everyone. Lowering the volume would improve the atmosphere a lot. 🙏🏻”

“We had such a great experience dining here! First off, we were so excited about their outdoor patio, as we were traveling with our dog who absolutely loves to go out to eat! They were super accommodating of us and gave him a dish of water when we sat down! The patio was also super ascetic and had really cute lights as the sun started to set! We pretty much all had sandwiches, which were amazing! I had the steak sandwich with chips and it was delicious! I absolutely loved the sauce that they used on it! Definitely recommend them when visiting this area!”
