“First time at a mission bbq and I have to say it was amazing. My family and I walked in not really knowing what’s going on and one of the amazing team members walked over and helped us by explaining everything that was on the menu. Forgive me but for the life of me I can’t remember the young man’s name(I wanna say it was Mike) everyone on the team was very helpful and willing to explain everything going on. I’m not from the area. It I will be making the trip back up to eat at this restaurant again!“

“Is the price worth the taste? $17 cheesesteak with fried onions and American cheese (not standard cooper sharp) as I’m old school, all on a seeded roll. Pound for pound, you are getting some fantastically seasoned steak, and a lot of it!
Listen, people are going to say what their favorite steak shop is, this one is close to my house, but I’d still travel to Dalessandro’s , but this place is pretty much just as, if not better than Dalessandro’s. It’s a pricey sandwich, and I think it comes out to the same amount of 2 Dalessandro’s sandwiches, so there’s that statistical difference.
My pictures are from my sandwich today, 9-21-2025, lunch.
I ate half, split with my wife, and hulled out the other, then filled a Pyrex 7 cup bowl as seen in the picture, and that’s a lot! I have to say the this place edges out Dalessandro’s because you can sit down and eat at the tables or counter. Dalessandro’s used to have a space to eat inside, but since COVID, have not reopened it which is a shame. I have not had a pizza from this place , but I will.“

I’m not usually a grilled chicken person but the quality here is so good that it’s become a favorite of mine.

“The chain is solid fast casual with healthy options - I grab take out lunch from here at least once a week. Mostly posting this as a shout out to the woman who appears to be the store manager, or who at least runs the air traffic control on all pickup orders. She is amazing, and the fact that she knows even one customer's name given the volume of orders she is overseeing is amazing. Great example of someone giving a little more than the average person might, and in turn creating the kind of customer experience that makes you leave with both your food and a smile.“

When I walk through the Wayne honeygrow doors, the lovely ladies behind the counter greet me with a “welcome to honeygrow” that I could only liken to the warmth of a mother’s hug. Their smiles are genuine, and they have a love for life. Bowls here are made with love.To hear the ladies banter joyfully as they craft my bowl reinforces the authenticity of the experience. Bri, the event coordinator, worked with me to customize my menu. She was extremely responsive to all my requests. Our server, Nick, truly made the experience exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and ensured that everything ran smoothly throughout our buffet service, always there to refill drinks and assist the guests. The buffet itself was delicious! The selection was impressive, and everyone enjoyed the delicious pasta, chicken parm and bruschetta. Overall, the combination of great food, a nice ambiance, and outstanding service from Nick made our graduation party amazing. I highly recommend From the Boot for any special event.“

“We love this place. We live in Philly, but just stumbled on it one day. Maybe it’s the owner, but a visit there feels like a special occasion . The appetizer of pita with a variety of dips is incredible, and filling. Next to come are dishes of souvlaki, falafel, lamb brochettes, vegetables, rice and salad. They are known for outstanding baklava (even for those who think they don’t like baklava), AND chocolate mousse. We have brought relatives and friends here from Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg, and all were thrilled .“

The only qualm was it felt the pizza wasn’t cooked enough to hold up with the toppings on it. Having said that I put too much on but my colleague had a composed pizza from their list and they said the same thing.

“Hoagie Hut is one of those rare spots that just gets everything right. The sandwiches are amazing and the customer service is even better. The owners make you feel welcome the second you walk in, and I appreciate that because you can tell they really love what they do.

The food is always great and the whole experience makes you want to come back again and again. My only wish is that they were open more during dinner hours because I’d definitely be there more often. This place is a gem and I can’t recommend it enough.“

“Leslie, Was the associate that served me and greeted me at the register I cannot say enough on how polite she is how helpful she is, and just the all-around beautiful person and soul and was so very helpful and really turned my day around after having a horrible month to just have a small conversation with me when the dining room was emptied out and she had just a few minutes to spare. “First time here (2/22/25) and it was great. I had beef Pho and my wife had shrimp and chicken fried rice. Both were fantastic. Her fried rice was one of the best I’ve had in a really long time. I’ll def be back for that. The pho broth was great. The only thing different here than other places I’ve had Pho was that they didn’t give me mint with the jalapeño and bean sprouts. The service was a little slow as they were pretty busy but the owner was very apologetic. Almost too much but it was greatly appreciated because normally you don’t get that type of treatment. Even though the food came out slow he was top notch with keeping my water filled which is my primary must when it comes to restaurant service. And although it was just him working the front of the house he was serving everybody so attentively. And I think his wife was the only person in the back of the house. They did a wonderful job. Also that gave s a small salad that was quite tasty. I don’t know what kind of dressing it was but it was pretty darn good. Oh and we had the veggie spring rolls and chicken kabobs, both also good.“

“The variety of food and service at Poke It Up was very good. Honestly wish I'd tried it sooner! There are different varieties of poke bowls to select from or you can make your own. The fish was very fresh and came with a healthy portion of rice. The veggies and sauce complimented the meal and the serving size (for me) was quite large so easily came for two meals. Definitely recommend!“
