“We got to the breakfast buffett and were seated in Christians section, where he created us immediately and took our drinks order. I want to thank Christian for being so kind to my mom and going above and beyond! The food was decent. Cobbler was delicious. But the service we received from him was nothing short of perfect. He was moving the whole time working and we never had an empty cup. The experience was great!“

Since it was our fist time here we decided to try the Mamma Maria’s Special pizza which was delicious and they definitely did not skimp on the toppings!!! We also ordered a chicken cheese steak with peppers onions and mushrooms had amazing flavor! Last we got two cannolis to go and they were the best cannolis we’ve ever had. “Tonight 11 native NYers went to a Steak house in the Poconos and not one iota of a complaint . Absolutely delicious food . My husband and I got the surf and turf , exquisite . My kids were so overjoyed with their kids menu (the cheese burger was the size of my daughter's head!) everyone loved their meals . The desserts were great also . The creme brûlée was top notch! Definitely get the crostini crab dip appetizer . My dad loved his fried artichoke and my step mom loved her blue cheese wedge salad . The true shining star for tonight though was the service . We had David and he was incredible. I was nervous to come with my small kids especially my little one w ASD, but he was amazing, compassionate, and extremely kind . We wanted for nothing . Definitely recommend .“

“Been eating here for a couple years now at least. HANDS DOWN BEST OXTAILS WITHIN 90 miles! I eat everywhere- Scranton, Wilkes-barre, Stroudsburg, Allentown, NONE COME EVEN CLOSE. I stay in Scranton area and take the 40 min drive for these $35 oxtails RELIGIOUSLY. And they NEVER DISAPPOINT. Portions are great. Food taste amazing. “I wanted to review on Google because the rating is unfairly low. We went to Log Cabin during our stay at Camelback and it was fantastic. I didn't realize they were just about to close but they sat us and were very attentive. Tabitha was an amazing server and deserves the highest tips. Do not sleep on the crab cake sliders, they are to die for. Everything we had was great and all the staff were extremely friendly and fun. My only issue is we don't live closer!“

We did a few apps to share: tempura shrimp with a pickled slaw, spring rolls and a cup of chili and French onion soup. The younger kids thought their menu had some great options and the rest of us were all over the map: grilled chicken salad, chilled soba noodles and a pub burger with sweet potato waffle fries. Their menu changes often to reflect the seasonality of ingredients, and I didn't snap a pic of their most recent menu, so food descriptions are generalized. “We stayed at the Chateau during a winter storm. It was pretty bad out, so we decided to eat at Mountainview. I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was busy. The bartender was also the only waitress. Although she was extremely busy, she was also extremely proficient. Our cups never went empty. We did have to wait longer than expected for our food, but given the circumstances, we understood. Our food was actually very tasty with a nice presentation! I will visit again!“

“All other Chinese restaurants in the area suck and cost more and many places in the area don't even clean their shrimp. They will it with intestine of the shrimp full of poo. This is the only place that I can trust that taste good. Don't go anywhere else. It's a hole in the wall type place. No where to eat. Not listed anywhere, take out only no delivery but well worth it. The est of places want to charge like twenty bucks for stuff you know costs ten or less. Vegetables are cheap! Only go here where it's reasonable and delicious.“

“We had a fantastic experience at Desaki Hibachi in the Poconos! Our server, Kaden, was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the meal. Our chef, Ronald, was incredible — so sweet, funny, and engaging. He really made the whole experience fun while cooking everything perfectly.

Highly recommend the vegetable spring rolls — they were delicious — and the filet was tender and cooked perfectly.
