“I moved to the Long Pond area earlier this year and upon doing so I’ve tried a few different takeout restaurants but NOTHING compares to AJ’s food and customer service! From the pizza to the cheesesteak (phenomenal by the way), this place is in a league of their own! Hands down. Very kind staff as well. Owner is very personable and has even made a couple delivers to me. Highly recommend! Enough to let you know that this is the first restaurant and/or food review that I’ve ever posted. -Ryan”

“Sho-Nuff Delights has the BEST fried chicken, fried shrimp, candied sweet potatoes, and collard greens I've EVER had out. This food is exactly how my family makes these items. It was such a great experience. Amazing food and amazing people. This is truly a great place to get some home cooked food. I will definitely be returning whenever I can. I wish them great success with their business. More people need to give their food a try and make this business the talk of the town.”

“All other Chinese restaurants in the area suck and cost more and many places in the area don't even clean their shrimp. They will it with intestine of the shrimp full of poo. This is the only place that I can trust that taste good. Don't go anywhere else. It's a hole in the wall type place. No where to eat. Not listed anywhere, take out only no delivery but well worth it. The est of places want to charge like twenty bucks for stuff you know costs ten or less. Vegetables are cheap! Only go here where it's reasonable and delicious.”

“We just brought our family and friends (Group of 17) and they readily accommodated us in their larger group room (Complete with decorative propane fireplace). The kids and adults alike devoured the pizza. Service was great and food came out quickly! So glad we came!”

“I heard by word of mouth that the Vintage Tavern had the best Philly style cheesesteaks in the Poconos. If you enjoy a great cheesesteak do not make this place anything other than your next stop for one. I also sampled the fries and they were equally spectacular. I will be going back soon! As a bonus they have a late 50s to mid 60s vibe.”

“My family and I had an amazing time in Kalahari but enjoying delicious breakfast buffet at a reasonable price topped with great service from excellent workers like Mrs Mary Ann, Nancy, Alex. The man making the omelet was warm, kind and makes the best omelet. Can’t wait to visit again.”

“Whether you are heading to the Crossings in Scotrun, PA, the Mt Airy Casino, Great Wolf Lodge, working near or traveling through, Nick’s is a must stop! A great business model with a true sense of running a successful business while serving awesome sandwiches, soups, breakfast 8 am, using fresh ingredients and a kitchen staff eager to prepare great food. One cheesesteak, sauce on side, on a fresh semolina roll, substantial meat, cheesy with nice flavors. The Italian sub, piled high with select Boars Head meats on same seeded roll was so big, it satisfied my hearty appetite. The chili and crab soup were totally delicious, well seasoned and hearty. At $6.99 for 12 ounces (bowl), they both satisfied us as an appetizer or lunch. The soups change daily! It was a delight talking to the owner who takes much pride in the 7 month old deli. I’m happy they landed in this part of the Poconos for residents and travelers to enjoy! We’ll definitely return to try the pizza and a pork Etta sandwich. Open every day but Sunday.”

The food was delicious, the owner spoke with us and we asked for any recommendations of food choice and she advised us well. From our main course to dessert the food was delicious, all homemade. “My husband and I had a wonderful meal here (as always, just always forget to leave a review)! I got baked chicken and salad and the chicken was fall off the bone tender, well seasoned and the salad fresh! My husband got a chicken rice and beans plate and empanadas and all of it was absolutely delicious, great traditional empanadas too! (They weren’t greasy at all- super crispy and great seasoning). The owners here are truly the sweetest people, and stopping in is always a great experience! I couldn’t recommend Emilio’s enough.”
