Everyone had a hard time deciding what to order because they were so many options on the menu that sounded appealing to each of us. “My usual order is a large vanilla cone. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated.I knew they were minutes (like there's more fingers on your hand than there were minutes till they closed) away from closing when I got there. When I got to the counter they told me that they were closed. I responded saying that I was only after a vanilla cone and I was paying with a card. They were awesome and I got my ice cream. I know they weren't thrilled for someone to walk in when I did, but they weren't rude or made me feel like they were irritated I was there. Even when they said they were closed it was in an apologetic tone.Thanks again guys.I've worked enough retail jobs and if you're going into a place close to closing time; as the customer you should be quick - know what you're after, uncomplicated - don't try to specialize, polite - they've been working all day and want to get home.“
