“The manager (Jade) does a wonderful job making my coffee in the morning (5:15am), there’s another girl who works the morning that makes it correctly (mobile order, you have to read it out to make the coffee, all ingredients and amounts are written down) anyone else manages to give me an iced coffee for my hot, too much milk, and the coffee is no longer hot at all, then you spend 7-9 minutes in the drive thru waiting for another, I’m honestly not someone who complains, but when I have 15 minutes to get coffee and I still don’t have enough time, something is wrong. There’s nothing wrong with kids working at a fast food place, just make sure they are properly trained! I had to walk a mile and a half home this morning because I had to wait 18 minutes for a coffee, no one has time for that, especially in the morning.“

“Stopped by to sample the food, Croissant with sausage, egg and cheese was delicious, and the French Toast muffin is a slice of heaven! Can't wait to go back and try a latte.“

The building itself is full of character inside and out, the coffee is amazing, and the bagel sandwiches are fresh and delicious! “Shout out to Empire's Coffee for their amazing customer service, and somehow equally amazing egg custards 😍 we placed an order with them one day before needing an order for pickup, and when we arrived they were fresh just coming out of the oven! They smelled so good we inhaled a couple as soon as we got to the car and they were perfect with the warm custard and the flaky crust 😭😋 Above and beyond customer service, and delicious pastries - thank you so much!!“

“the coffee here is so so good, especially the sweater weather and the lumberjack if you like fall vibes. but the matcha is so so mid, it's more like a flavor powder and not even real matcha. it has a chalky texture and tastes like chemicals. i assumed because the coffee and everything else here was so amazing that the matcha would live up to that same standard. other than that it's an amazing coffee shop.. just focus on the coffee lol. :)“

“Stopped in to buy a cup of coffee but they were already closing the shop. I pleaded for a cup of coffee since I had not had a good cup since 6:30am. Much to my surprise the two staff members were the nicest people you could encounter and made me a wonderful & delicious cup of coffee. Enjoyed it to the last drop. “I have purchased gift cards for the staff and they loved it. Yesterday they all had lunch - raved about the chicken sandwiches and the chicken salad - very fresh and delicious and inexpensive! One of the guys goes regularly for both breakfast and lunch!!! Place is great and nice and clean. Check it out.“

“Since the drive thru is the only way tomake a purchase, it would be nice if napkins are put in the bag without me having to say “Could I please have a few napkins in the bag” so I dont show up at work with cream cheese all over. “The absolute best cafe for homemade ice cream, wonderful hot fudge, delicious soups, over the top croissant sandwiches as well as the best soda and fruit drinks! Such a nice staff and owner. We’ve been eating there over 25 years and probably had 300+ meals. Try it!“

“Love this spot! Such a warm and homey feel inside while still having a splash of classy! The employees are consistently friendly and always excited to greet you with a warm hello! A hidden gem in Belvidere you don’t want to miss! My go to is the iced chai latte but today was their special tiramisu latte. Perfection. I’m not a huge coffee fan but when I indulge I’m a sweet coffee drinker. This was sweet enough for me while still getting the coffee flavor coming through. The dollop of cream on top adds for an extra dash of sweetness. On top of all that, it was served at the absolute perfect temperature ready to immediately drink.“

“Just stopped at the Starbucks with my daughters. The 2 young people working (a young man named Brandon and a young woman with short purple hair and a sweet personality) served us. They’re both a true asset because of how friendly and great they are at their jobs. I definitely will be coming back in not only for the good coffee but the terrific workers.“

“Their donuts are consistently bigger, better and more fresh than Dunkin in hope. I live next to Dunkin in hope but drive out to Belvedere because it’s worth it. So much better that I had to ask why and they said most of their donuts are made in house and that they also use different bakery’s.“

“I do take outs. I like Double D. Most likely I figured, because I am a repeat customer, I get what I perceive as good service. Most Double D locations and cleanliness belong in the A circular.

Vegetarian options: There is nothing wrong to be a Vegan. There is also nothing wrong to be a beef eater. People have the ability to choose. They stay in their lane.

Parking: Nearly all Double D that I have patronized have adequately parking.“

“me and a few friends were in town for the Friday The 13th weekend and we came from Ohio ... we stopped in before heading back home and I just wanted to say that the 2 young ladies behind the counter were super cool and very friendly and the food was more than any of us expected... I love coming from Ohio to Blairstown and trying local businesses and visiting the location of one of my favorite films ... It's almost like a 2nd home to me and I've never had a bad experience, so thank you for making the end of our trip worth it !!!“
