“I ordered the 1/2 sandwich & side meal with the Chipotle chicken Avo Melt and the tomato bisque soup also had fruit cup side with a lemon bundt cake for dessert. My drink was the blackberry hibiscus tea (made unsweetened). The other meal pictured in the background is bistro French onion soup with half of a chicken salad sandwich along w/ fruit & dessert was a cherry Danish drink was the passion papaya green tea. We loved all of it enjoyed the atmosphere quiet & clean also used the kiosk to place the order it was made & ready quickly. We'll definitely be back again, thanks!“

“Hands down my favorite breakfast nook in the area! Don’t miss the avocado toast if you’re into that kind of thing — it’s so good. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is super cozy, and when the weather’s nice, the back patio feels straight out of Europe. The owners are truly the best kind of humans and will welcome you like family. I bring my out of town guests here and often purchase gift cards so I can gift my friends and family a meal here. “Where do I begin… This place is beyond words, every bite it decadent, delightful, exquisite and masterful. Francis is a true master in the kitchen, each time we visit the menu is different, and I’ve yet to have anything short of incredible. The entire staff is friendly and passionate about the food and atmosphere of the cafe. Our favorite waitress Reelika always explains the menu so well and makes it such a fun experience. I highly highly recommend this place, if you enjoy good food then you will definitely enjoy this gem. Thank you Francis and staff for another fantastic meal and we can’t wait to return“

“Worst take out experience ever. Ordered two corned beef specials to go, requested the chips go inti a separate box so as not to get soggy next to the sandwiches. At pickup, they put the chips on with the sandwich. Requested it be put in a separate box, got attitude from waitress. I gave up paid and left. The cole slaw tasted like vinegar, the corned beef tasted stale as if not freshly sliced. It all went to garbage disposal. NEVER again.“

“I ordered some Shoyu Ramen, and I tried the Tea peach Oolong.
The Ramen was pretty good. Didn't have any complaints. I felt like it was enough noodles. It has some pork slices. It was my first time trying ramen out.
I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and. Try a different boba tea I'm not used to. The peach tasted good. Refreshing. But I'm more of the milk tea type of person. I'm not a picky person. It's great.
Overall. The food was good. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere feels like you can just chill and vibe with the people.
Next time I want to try the milk tea banana.
And the crookie. Yummmmmm“

“My wife and I came for our fifth anniversary and we're absolutely delighted by our experience. The food was delicious and of superior quality. The staff was friendly, personable, and quite attentive. It was a very relaxed meal (almost 3 hours) which is just right for a romantic fine dining experience. Who would have thought that such a treasure was hidden in this little area of Pennsylvania? We will most CERTAINLY be back.“

“I like Root Down but am very disappointed that they discontinued Vegan Vibes Wednesdays. We went regularly when it was around. Now, with limited option, we don’t have a reason to eat here anymore.“
