It’s refreshing to see an authentic Spanish place in such a small area and so close to my location. Also, they prepare fresh juices such as watermelon juice, cantaloupe juice, horchata, and more!“

“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. “The Love. was simply incredible! We came here with our 6 year old son. Our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating to our 6 year old which you don’t always find in Rittenhouse. The atmosphere was light and airy and the food was great! We decided on the menu and then we were guests at our own dinner. It is full service. The ambience was good and our guests enjoyed both the food and their awesome selection of cocktails. Gaurav Bhardwaj and Brazil provided excellent service. Did I mention Food? Very Good and Flavorful. We are from Delhi and big foodies, and I must tell you that they superseded our expectations. “A nice spot, rather informal but still fun. We split the lamb glaba, which was fairly good, and the fahsah, which came with large flatbread and was really good. You do have to pay for water. Our server was helpful and easy to talk to. Overall I'd say its a fun ethnic spot to visit. They did some weird stuff with the bill- I think they charged the credit card tax ahead of time on everything regardless of payment method, so be aware of that.“
