When I walk through the Wayne honeygrow doors, the lovely ladies behind the counter greet me with a “welcome to honeygrow” that I could only liken to the warmth of a mother’s hug. Their smiles are genuine, and they have a love for life. Bowls here are made with love.To hear the ladies banter joyfully as they craft my bowl reinforces the authenticity of the experience. They’re the gift that keeps on giving, and they leave me longing to return. This crew of employees should be the subject of a case study for all other honeygrow establishments. These ladies deserve life- long pension plans.“

“These are the most generous people I’ve ever had the privilege of ordering from in my life. I’m going through a family crisis and I’m in town for the week. I’ve been eating wawa veggie sandwiches and French fries for over a week now and I decided to treat myself to something vegan so I ordered through grubhub for the first time. I guess I accidentally ordered it to be delivered the following day. So I just called them and asked them if they were able to change the delivery time. They said sure no problem but apparently they couldn’t find a GH driver so the owner drove 20 minutes to deliver it to me and I’m honestly about to cry after the week I’ve had. They will never know how much this means to me. I am a lifelong Boardwalk Vegan fan and cannot recommend them enough!!!“

“Awesome dining experience at Eddie V's recently. The food, ambiance and service was fabulous for our Anniversary dinner. Stephanie, our server was professional, pleasant and knew the menu well. She added to making this a wonderful celebration. Sr. Management stopped by our table to check on us to make sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. Big shout out to Michelle who is awesome in every aspect of her role. One of the managers took our picture and presented to us in an Eddie V's card was a first class gesture. Can't wait to return. “I ordered lunch for my family, for take out. One item was loaded potato puffs. They came with a very small drizzle of sour cream and a few small pieces of bacon. most were dry and plain. Very frustrating as this was my husbands only food he ordered and will be eating 😔“

“I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

“Awesome food. We had a dirty plate that I noticed only because it was wet and I used the black cloth napkin to wipe it dry. My napkin had white residue on it. I asked for a new plate and did get one. Also, most of the time we have to ask for fortune cookies. They used to be given with our check. We do love eating here, and drive 50 minutes from our home to get here. We saw the wonderful manager and Chef from our last visit.“

“Had dinner at Bar Sera for the first time in 2023-06-16 for a 7pm reservation. We got seated right away, not waiting at all. All our drinks and food came out on time and was absolutely delicious. We had the best server named Rachel. She had many tables but still was amazing, very attentive and would engage in conversation with us as. She made the dining experience so much better than any restaurant I’ve been to in a while. The food overall was amazing. I highly recommend this place. If you can, ask for Rachel, she won’t disappoint.“

We especially appreciate the impressive selection of liquors and the rotating draft beer options, keeping things interesting. Only issue stems from the TV situation, particularly when trying to catch any Philly sports. The picture quality tends to be pixelated, making it difficult to watch comfortably and even causing my wife's eye strain.“

“Not quite what it was. Still a wide selection of imported italian items. More commercially packaged peppers etc. Hoagies are still excellent but steak sandwiches are oily. Labor costs seem to be a major factor as is with all businesses so that may be a factor in outsourcing. Breads are outstanding and they alone are worth the visit.“

“We love this place. We live in Philly, but just stumbled on it one day. Maybe it’s the owner, but a visit there feels like a special occasion . The appetizer of pita with a variety of dips is incredible, and filling. Next to come are dishes of souvlaki, falafel, lamb brochettes, vegetables, rice and salad. They are known for outstanding baklava (even for those who think they don’t like baklava), AND chocolate mousse. We have brought relatives and friends here from Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg, and all were thrilled .“

“Playa Bowls really has such a cool and chill vibe, great food options if you want something fun and healthy, and the Wayne/Villanova location has really friendly workers! I tried this place out when I was looking for a healthy smoothie post-workout, and I enjoyed my smoothie and experience so much, that I downloaded their app to get reward points! Going to Playa Bowls is now my favorite post-workout treat. I’m looking forward to going there for breakfast or a midday snack to try out some of their fruit bowls“
