“We cannot speak highly enough about Stokesay, their entire team, and, most importantly, Hannah Kufro, our Wedding Coordinator that we worked with! My wife and I signed our venue contract one-year to the date ahead of our big day, with a different coordinator, one who ultimately ended up transitioning to a different organization just a week before our tasting was scheduled. For a couple planning a wedding, especially so close to their big day, this would normally have been an incredibly stressful change to hear about, however, we were expeditiously contacted by Hannah and met her days later at our tasting – immediately after meeting her we knew we were in great hands, and we both agree that our initial impression was spot on. Hannah’s attention to detail, flexibility, and knowledge have continued to impress ourselves, our parents, and our guests who experienced a phenomenal wedding just this past weekend. She not only hit the ground running with our event, but confirmed several details and was able to work with us to ensure our wedding day was as perfect as possible. While I have personally sent messages to several friends I know who are engaged and looking for venues, I wanted to share this note here for those couples looking for venues – Stokesay should 100% be on your list; the charm, history, venue, and staff will all make your big day as perfect as you could ever dream of – if anything, just go check it out – once you see this in person you’ll see exactly what we are talking about. With deepest gratitude, Blake and Lindsay Tobias”
“Food is amazing. I seriously could eat there everyday! One of my favorites is the Cheese Tortellini in Alfredo Sauce with chicken. The Alfredo Sauce is fresh made and the best I have ever had. Staff is always super nice and attentive even when they are busy which is always.”
“What a great gem. I am staying at the DoubleTree Hotel and wandered into this Vietnamese restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is warm and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed meal. I highly recommend saving room for dessert as well, they are truly worth it. I would definitely come back.”

“This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Everything is so flavorful, the portions are good, and the owner is a delight.
It is a very small place (hence “takeout” in the name) with one two-seat table. They do have one more duplicate table they can pop open upon request.”
“Holy guacamole!!! The food is absolutely amazing!! I had the shrimp taco salad and hubby had the tacos! My goodness it was so delicious! Both the ladies working were so kind! I loved that they had music playing but it wasn’t blaring like some chain restaurants! We will definitely be back!”
“Been dieing to try this place. Didn't disappoint. Try all the others from Pottstown to Bethlehem. This one is the best. Had all my Korean childhood favorites my mom made me growing up. Staff is amazing and friendly. Definitely going back.”
“Delicious fancy food . The outsider area when it’s open is beautiful to eat out in the breeze ..”

“Typically, in my experience ordering takeout, people are stoic and not welcoming at all. That is not the case for El Roble, from the moment the lady picked up the phone, I could feel her enthusiasm. We ordered lengua tacos and pupusas. Everything was AMAZING! It was delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be stopping by more often!!”
“Today our server was YSARA, OMG the whole package, pleasant and knows her menu. Very attentive to us, making sure our drinks were replenished. Checking on our food. A very positive experience today. We don’t live in this area, moved away 8 months ago, but decided to stop by and wanted to give this Plaza Azteca a chance to redeem itself from a not so positive experience in July. Possibly that visit was an off day for them because today was what we are used to here at Mt Penn’s Plaza Azteca. YSARA was our server once before and she definitely needs to be recognized as an asset to your restaurant. Kudos to YSARA ?❤️”
“There first time I went here the place was good. They had very good Peruvian food. I am not what happened the second time I went here but the ceviche was not great. It was overly spicy almost as if the seafood was bad. The place did refund me but ever since that day I do not go because I do not want to risk it. I would day stick with there cooked food items”
“This spot has been my go to for a while since moving to PA from NYC. Foods good and the service delivery time is A1, pick up times can have a slight delay from them pumping out DoorDash or uber eats orders, but they make sure you are priority over delivery drivers. The amount of business they do reassures me that the food will be fresh and not something that has been sitting. Overall 5 stars 🫡”
“Fantastic place and atmosphere! Kid friendly! Awesome food and professional staff!”
“First time here and everything was great. I'm not sure what I expected but was pleasantly surprised. I could cut my steak with a butter knife and it was scrumptious.”
“The service was perfect. The food was delicious. Fresh bread softened butter. I had scallops wrapped in bacon with a fabulous horseradish sauce. Mango salad. I had crab cakes, roasted red potatoes and coleslaw. I brought a delicious cake home with butter rum sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“I dont give 5 stars easily. Clean nice good food, wonderful people, service, and owners. Everything seems so fresh and good. Salad bar amazing soups are great, and they have a nice senior menue. Thank you all so much, especially for trying so hard to keep prices down for your customers”
“Ordered on the app and picked it up at the drive-thru window. No problems whatsoever.
Either my eyes are going bad or I got what appeared to be the smallest Filet-O-Fish sandwich I've ever seen, topped with a 1/3 slice of cheese. NOT a half slice. A 1/3 slice. That said, it was quite tasty.
The french fries must have just come out of the fryer. They were the best I have had in a very, very long time. Kudos!”
“Modern design. Nice indoor playground. It's small, but enough for my 5 year old to enjoy with some newly made friends. It's easy to monitor while having my own meal. It was mostly clean though the tables and chairs could have used a wipe down. It looked well staffed and everyone was busy working. Our food was brought out to us by the time we got settled into seats and my son got his sneakers off for the playground. Plenty of parking and accessible seating.”
“Oh this place was bad from the start and only got worse! there was seven of us that came to music bingo. The second that we got there we were told that we weren't going to be seated unless all seven of us are there. We had one lady that was running a few minutes late and they wouldn't seat us. However, the restaurant had nobody in it. There was only two waitresses on and one was a bartender at the same time. It took forever to get our orders taken. Then it took even longer for us to get our food! We didn't get our food until music Bingo was almost over. Once we finally got it, it was ice cold! Then the waitress puts the bill down and disappears! Literally just disappeared. I had to go to the kitchen door knock on the door and ask for my waitress so we could get the bill and leave. This place is a disaster!”

“OMG. Do not go in before you've had lunch or you'll end up buying a lifetime supply of pretzels and snacks. We made snacks run trip from 2.5 hrs away in NY stopping at multiple locations in mid November getting stocking stuffers for Christmas. Let's just say we now need to get bigger stockings.”

“We go to Crossroads regular since it is close to work. We'll after lunch today, NEVER AGAIN. We were scolded by our waitress. We ordered a burger and fries and added the 3.99 charge for a salad. I ordered a crock of soup for 5.99 and ate my husbands salad. She pointed at us and said that is a big No,No,No. Then intern charged us for the salad bar of 10.99 and the extra fee to add to his meal of 3.99. When went up to pay they said we shared. My husband did not eat a salad I ate it instead of him. We paid for it so who cares who eats it, it was paid for. Argued to remove the side salad. What a going on. They kept saying we Shared why we did not we ate 1 salad and no soup from the salad bar, I paid extra for a different soup. We said we won't ever come back they said thats fine-bye. Instead of beginning polite the male in charge was rude. To pay 40.00 for lunch we don't need to go back to be treated like a 5 year old. We will take our business somewhere else on Route 61.”
“My husband and I just returned from a delicious, well-priced dinner at Norte Sur on Perkiomen Avenue in Reading. The portions were large, and the food was delicious. My husband had a burrito which took up the entire plate. I had a wonderful taco salad, and we shared sopapillas for dessert. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. We received free refills on our iced teas, and the total bill was less than $40. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Norte Sur, and am looking forward to returning soon.”
“Was questioning eating here based on Yelp reviews, but MAN am I glad we tried it! I had the crab legs and fries and my husband had the fish and chips. The fries were probably the best I’ve ever had! I have never had hand cut fries that were actually crispy all the way through. Delicious place to eat! Would DEFINITELY recommend!”
“Gotham's vigilance extends beyond the shadows, even to the quaint corners of Reading, PA, where Batmanjawn, recently ventured into a unique and historic building. It was Judy's on Cherry, which stands as a beacon of culinary excellence, a sanctuary where even the Caped Crusader can find respite from the eternal battle against crime, a haven of culinary delights where heroes and ordinary folk alike can find solace in the simple pleasures of good food and great company. I was greeted by the warm glow of vaulted wooden ceilings and the aroma of freshly baked focaccia bread, a sensory experience fit for a hero. Gail, the hostess, with her gracious demeanor, welcomed me with the warmth of a trusted ally, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. The butternut squash soup started the meal off Bat-tastically. The old fashioned packed the punch of the Batmobile's turbo boost. The filet mignon, tender as a villain's heart after a night in Arkham, paired perfectly with a side of mashed potatoes and veggies that would make Alfred proud. But it wasn't just the food that left me in awe; it was the service, embodied by Steve, a stalwart guardian of hospitality, a waiter of unparalleled dedication and charm, whose smile could rival even the Joker's grin. With 17 years of service under his utility belt, he exemplified the hospitality that does justice to Judy's reputation of excellence. The unique cigarette-turned-magnet dispenser, made me marvel at the ingenuity of humanity, the resilience of the human spirit. It was transformed from nicotine machine to an artist’s dream. Poetic. As I stood atop the payment folio, passing my Judy’s gift card like a torch of patronage to Steve, I couldn't help but feel that Judy's on Cherry isn't just a restaurant; it's a sanctuary for the soul, a refuge where heroes and artists alike find solace in a world fraught with chaos. To Judy's, I say: may your lights never dim, your flavors never fade, and your legacy endure like the legend of the Batmanjawn.”

“Found this food truck online & thought i’d give it a go!
Was on my last $20 and was starving, here’s what i got!
I ordered the 4 for $13 birria tacos cilantro/ onions with consume
& 2 Bean n cheese pupusas
The birria was well seasoned, tortillas were crispy & the cheese was melty & gooey
consume was a lil on the bland side but it still had some flavor
The pupusas were amazing with the lil slaw n salsa they provide for you!
Spent a total of $19 & only waited 15mins for all of it to be ready
The area is sketchy & ghetto i would say but if you are willing to look past that, The food is solid here.
Only bad complaint is no manners the person who took my order was semi nice & the person who gave me my food didn’t have no manners. Told her “goodnight & thank you again” no response.
Other than that would eat here again!
Parking: It’s in the gas station so you could just park anywhere”
“I would recommend the Delicious pumpkin roll and the sliced Italian bread. I'm using the bread for homemade bread pudding, my mom's recipe! Both my sons will love the bread pudding. I accidentally devoured the pumpkin rolls..No Sharing either. Thank you for the generosity! Kimberly”
“The bartender Brandy was absolutely wonderful. She is a asset that any club would want on their payroll. If there was an option for more than 5 stars I would select infinite.”
“Used to go there in the 1990s...remember Rick and the bartender Carmen......good place to relax”

“TLDR: Yes, worthy of the 5 stars.
Today was my first time experiencing Brooklyn Place and I must say that I am very pleased.
Went in thinking it was just a Cafe and I wanted to support a local Cafe in my area of Reading, to my surprise it is a full restaurant.
The staff is very polite and go above and beyond for their customers. Nice quiet place, comfortable atmosphere and plenty of parking in this shopping center.
My order was a large iced coffee, a veggie omelette with home fries, rye toast and a side of sausage. Total cost was $18 and some change.
Iced coffee: Best I have ever had. I have previously worked in cafes and Starbucks, also I am a coffee fiend, and try new places often. In my 37 years on this planet, I have never had an iced coffee this good. Just with cream and sugar.
Veggie Omelette: Delicious, but a tad bit on the greasy side. Very fair with the ingredients/fillings, without being too dense, still fluffy.
Home Fries: Soft, golden brown, seasoned cubes of joy. Very good. Personally I would like them fried just a little longer to give them a light crunch.
Rye Toast and Sausage: Bagged Rye sandwich bread, not seeded. Basic, but honestly we don't need some fancy bread or anything like that. A thumbs up for the toast and sausage links.
Definitely will be coming back and bringing family. They got themselves a new recurring customer.”
“I've been coming here since I was a kid. My favorite spot to get Spanish food. Ive never had a bad meal here. The owner is amazing and the customer service is always top notch. If you do not speak Spanish they will help guide you to order. It's primarily a takeout restaurant but a couple stools and bar top to eat in but it is on the small side.”
“Excelente comida y atención, experiencia en comer más de 10 años y no cambia es la misma. Dios la bendiga siempre 😘😘😘”
“3pool tables to play on nice people friendly service they do have food Menu stop in check them out”
“Have been eating lunch here with the LHP crew regularly for the past few months!! Great food!!”
“We enjoy your breakfast and lunches with the best Italian products in a cosy atmosphere. Our panettone crema al limoncello from Borsari we did buy for Christmas was the best ever ! We recommend to shop and eat at your place and buy the food to continue the Italian experience at home!”

“I had their cod fish with freshly boiled yucca and it was excellent. Their pork belly and roasted pork is also very good. They also have a fritter similar to the shell of a pastelillo but open. These are sold quickly. The only things I disliked was their rice and fried pork meat. Their rice lacks oil which makes it puffy. Their fried pork and other meats aside from their pork belly and roasted pork are somewhat salty. However, I recommend it especially when you don't have time to cook.”
“With Mussos' having baked its last bread, I will now deliver the eulogy; For over a decade, I have frequented this restaurant in addition to having made a few stops at the previous location back in the day and overall, it was typically a pleasant dining experience. The menu was vast, the food was delicious and satisfying, the ambiance was appealing, and the servers were typically friendly as well as competent. Unfortunately, however, Musso's never felt inviting as the owner never warmed up to us in the slightest. I will never really understand why either, seeing as he could be friendly and accommodating with others. Perhaps he felt that we were beneath him? I can assure you that our money is just as green as anyone else's, and we contributed much of it to his livelihood over the years, so a little gratitude was surely in order. At best, he was standoffish with us and at worst he could be downright unpleasant. Surely, Musso's officially closing marks the end of an era and leaves a void in the community and also in our stomachs. I will miss the food, atmosphere and servers but I will not miss the disapproving looks or the grievances relayed through servers. I guess you don't have to be fond of the artist to appreciate the art, and I will definitely miss dining here.”

“I placed an order because I had this food at another event, and the food was fantastic. When I placed my order by phone, the woman who answered was very polite and helpful. She was very busy, but called me back within just a few minutes. I will purchase from this restaurant again!”

“my daughter ordered from the app. I picked up the order. drove home and when bag was opened no fries. I ordered Fry's and went back. I paid for them, didn't really care about price. trying to be nice. I saw the person that gave me the first order. I said about the missing Fry's. I'm sure they would be bummed with a wrong order. instead of a sorry I got "I don't put the food in the bag". really?”

“Glad to have a Wendy's somewhat nearby since the one by my house and the one where I work closed down. I love Wendy's and grew up going there with my dad. Now 40 something years later it's still my favorite fast food burger. I've only been to this location once, but they got my order correct and everything tasted great.”

“Y'all, we went to Sunrise Mount Penn Deli (on Carsonia, where Jake's used to be) for lunch today, and I have got to say, we had the best chicken cheese steak and fries ever, their smoothies are made with the freshest fruit and veg and taste like a dream (we tried banana, mango, pineapple), and their ice cream (especially the coffee) is to die for. Everyone who works there is so friendly and happy, singing along with Sylas and getting to know us all. Hugs and smiles and just happiness all around in that place. We can't wait to go back!”
“Wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner ❤️ everything was delicious and the service was great!”
