“We cannot speak highly enough about Stokesay, their entire team, and, most importantly, Hannah Kufro, our Wedding Coordinator that we worked with! My wife and I signed our venue contract one-year to the date ahead of our big day, with a different coordinator, one who ultimately ended up transitioning to a different organization just a week before our tasting was scheduled. For a couple planning a wedding, especially so close to their big day, this would normally have been an incredibly stressful change to hear about, however, we were expeditiously contacted by Hannah and met her days later at our tasting – immediately after meeting her we knew we were in great hands, and we both agree that our initial impression was spot on. Hannah’s attention to detail, flexibility, and knowledge have continued to impress ourselves, our parents, and our guests who experienced a phenomenal wedding just this past weekend. She not only hit the ground running with our event, but confirmed several details and was able to work with us to ensure our wedding day was as perfect as possible. While I have personally sent messages to several friends I know who are engaged and looking for venues, I wanted to share this note here for those couples looking for venues – Stokesay should 100% be on your list; the charm, history, venue, and staff will all make your big day as perfect as you could ever dream of – if anything, just go check it out – once you see this in person you’ll see exactly what we are talking about. “The food is delicious. My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time tonight and we will be returning. We ordered lo mein, spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls. Everything was hot and fresh. They are open late at night which is good.“

But, I have unfollowed the page because whoever is running the social media constantly comments @ followers on their posts. That is incredibly annoying. I’m also not sure it’s the best marketing strategy.“

“First time here on a Thursday night.Service was excellent.I wasn't a fan of the steamed dumplings at all but my pho was pretty good as were the spring rolls.The fried rice with egg was good too.The others in my party got the calamari and they said it was good.I was lucky to get a good parking spot less than a half a block from the front of the restaurant.“

“Walking in we were greeted by Kenny the owner. We sat at bar and enjoyed our service there with a very knowledgeable and friendly barmaid. The food was excellent and it was a very pleasant experience.

“I’ve had breakfast all over the country and this is the only diner I’ve been to that serves perfect food every time. Eggs are always huge and made as ordered. Home Fries are always fully cooked with a little bit of crisp on the edges. Bacon is never under cooked or burnt. It’s such a simple staple but everywhere else seems to mess it up.“

“We are always pretty pleased with Pizza Time’s food. A little bit on the pricier side, but I feel like it is worth it for the consistency. You can rely on getting the same decent quality food each time you order. Sounds like a simple box to check, but it’s amazing how inconsistent and unreliable some of these pizza places are. It is also the closest I’ve found in our 8 years here to the pizza from where we grew up in Philly. Most places aren’t open late enough here and the won’t allow you to easily customize certain orders which bugs me. Especially where cheesesteaks are concerned. I prefer mine without fried onions, and American cheese. It’s not some outrageously uncommon request. There seems to be an overwhelming number of places that are obsessed with putting pizza sauce on the steak sandwiches too. Sometimes even when you don’t ask for it 😂 That’s not how that should go friend. I recommend this place. Garlic butter with the pizza is a nice touch. Fries are crispy. Portions are alright and “fat boy’s” Wings are excellent. That is all.“

Vegetarian options: I order the mixed vegetable or chinese mixed veg. The broccoli in garlic sauce, large vegetable soup. They have other things you can choose and, steamed options as well.“

After reading on here about recent service experiences, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm happy to report that the problematic bartender is no longer here and everyone I encountered was nice, chatty, and helpful. “Large venue with plenty of TVs for sports viewing. Visited at prime time on a Saturday and we quickly got a table for our group of 6. Had come nice outdoor seating overlooking the street. Food was very good with the cheesesteak as the clear winner. It was full of meat and had a fresh roll.“

“Sometimes, you want Chineese food, and being a native of Philadelphia, I sometimes crave cheese steak. So when I came across a cheese steak roll, I had to have it!! They were divine!! I even allowed a friend to try one, but ONLY one. Then my family agreed with me. The juicy-melty-cheesy roll with the deep-fried crunch was perfection! I pass this place almost daily. They seem to be the only Chinese restaurant in the immediate area that offers them. They are must have!!
