“As always, the water ice is very good and I never have any complaints. Whether it's a small or large, it's always served packed well over top of the cup so you actually get more in your serving than you would think you were getting. There is only one problem which prevents this place from getting a five star. When you pay with a card, the electronic kiosk does not give you an option for no tip. 18% 20% 25% 40%, if you don't want to tip, you have to go to a completely different screen, and then just choose to pay the amount that your order has cost you. It's very confusing and I feel very presumptuous on Rita's part because, if I was sitting at a table and server came over, took my order and then brought my order to me at the table, then I believe a tip would be in order. When I have to get out of my car walk up to the front counter, waiting in line and then place my order. I don't feel that a tip is necessary. But they make it difficult for you not to tip and for that, you lose a star.“

“I live walking distance from a Rita's water ice but choose to drive 15-20min to Mom's because they are better in every way than Rita's! They give bigger sizes and prices are cheaper and they have so much more selection of homemade ice cream, soft serve ice cream, and water ice in so many different flavors and combinations and Sundaes and Gelatis and milkshakes! Whatever you want, they got it!!! 👍🏼🍦🍨🍧🥤“

“We come here very often And the young girls that work here are always super friendly and nice. Whoever does the hiring did a wonderful job I have two readers that are closer to my home, but I choose to drive the extra 10 minutes just to go to the Rita’s in Furlong! For some reason, the flavors are just so much better here also!“

“Last Sunday morning and arrived 2 hours too early, as they open at 12....This is my post yoga ritual when I travel home to Philly...The owner had come to retrieve something from the store and I explained that I grew up in the area, but lived in SC now...Told him my fav was chocolate and that in SC, we don't get all the flavors... “They have a lot of unique flavors and mixes for special occasions. Like the eclipse 5 layer for the solar eclipse which was really creative . All their flavors are delicious. They have a sugar free flavor too. Wish they had a nonfat custard to go with the sugar free ice though“
