We had 4 people. 1 order of 2 pancakes, 1 order of 3 pancakes, 1 order of French toast and 1 order of strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes. Do you think 2 little bottles of syrup is enough? French toast was just about cold qhen more syrup arrived. Asked 3 times for the strawberry syrup sauce that comes with the strawberry cheesecake pancakes to finally be told they were out of it. When talked to the server about this saying that it would have been nice to know this before ordering as something else would have been ordered, was told I had an attitude as the server walked away from the table. Then server never came back to the table until she dropped the bill off. I said oh I need to order a to go order. Three times I told her we needed the strawberry icebox pie. She brings the bill back drops it off, I check it and it is wrong to go item. Then had to wait more time for her to come back, I finally asked another server to get her. The whole experience took about 2hours usually our dining experience is much more timely, nice and positive but not this time was frustrating and felt not listened to or appreciated.“

The food and drinks were all fabulous - Bar Jawn has a chill, relaxed atmosphere but boasts an elevated bar menu that is so much more and so far beyond typical bar food! Some of our favorites were the drunken ravioli, the buffalo arancini (so inventive!!!), the chicken parm (make sure you get it with ravioli!), the mozzarella triangles (mozz sticks with an upgrade!) and the eggplant stack! “We had such a fantastic experience at Illata in Philadelphia! From start to finish, everything felt special, and a big part of that was our amazing waitress, Mary — she was attentive, warm, and really elevated the whole evening with her thoughtful service.

The menu offered some unexpected surprises, and the standout for us was the carrot dish. It was hands down the highlight of the night — it almost felt like a savory take on carrot cake, rich and flavorful in the most delightful way. The trout was a pleasant surprise too; it leaned more toward the texture and richness of salmon, and honestly, it was one of the best fish dishes we’ve had in a while.

And we can’t forget the desserts — they absolutely blew us away. The rhubarb tart was perfectly balanced, and the chocolate cake was decadent without being too heavy. A perfect ending to a memorable meal!

“I made reservations for Harry Potter High Tea in April. They promoted it until mid summer. Had reservation for today June 21st for special Birthday. Ridley House took down all Harry Potter stuff, the restaurant was empty. We were seated in baron area with only one other table. The table tops were really beat up as was a lot of fixtures. High Tea was promoted with 3 tiers of food but what my SIL got was so sparse and a joke for $35. Over priced, underwhelming decor and just horrible! We will not be back! Stingers here we come!!“

“We had a small party at Riverwinds on Saturday night. The food was excellent. However, the dessert package is a total ripoff! There was a plate of small desserts ( 1”square pieces of cake, 2 “ eclairs, a chocolate covered strawberry, and a tiny cannoli. There were not even enough for everyone to take one! When I asked for more the waitress said I should go to another table and see if they had anything! 😡😳 Definitely not worth $10 a person! RIPOFF!“

When we decided on tuna tartar and a smash burger (with a glass of okay white wine and another of beer), she was there to take our order and bring the drinks. Our server Brendon apologized for the delay in getting to our table, explaining that it had been a wild night and they were slightly understaffed (understandable, it was Valentine's Day). After that, though, he was attentive and friendly for the entire meal. The winter salad I ordered was enormous and although it could have used more dressing, it was still enjoyable. My friend's burger came with a generous portion of fries and was phenomenal. For drinks, I opted for their "dealer's choice" option that lets you roll three dice to create a unique off-menu cocktail. It was dangerously tasty and a generous pour. After dinner, we moved to the bar and chatted with the bar manager Jeremy, who was not only also incredibly friendly and great conversation, but knew his way around the bar and came up with another bespoke cocktail when they were out of an ingredient for the drink I originally wanted. Overall, a fantastic experience across the board and definitely my new favorite spot in Media.“

“Omg! Ralissa is amazing. I called and had an issue with my door dash that charged me to deliver a drink when for some reason all the food got deleted off of the order. They gave me the run around about it and it took forever to even consider them getting a refund. They wouldn't refund me for an accidental 10 dollar drink. But I called and Ralissa asked her higher ups worked her magic and gave me the refund when she cancelled it on her end. I attempted to order through the door dash/Uber site again and this time the food went through. Well guess what was waiting for me in the bag not only did she put the drink that she comp for my hassle but she wrote a note to me that she wanted me to have the drink. It made me feel so special. I called her back and thanked her. I made sure to write this review about her because she really went above and beyond. I pray many blessings on her life and that she never lose that extra light she has!“
