We had 4 people. 1 order of 2 pancakes, 1 order of 3 pancakes, 1 order of French toast and 1 order of strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes. Do you think 2 little bottles of syrup is enough? French toast was just about cold qhen more syrup arrived. Asked 3 times for the strawberry syrup sauce that comes with the strawberry cheesecake pancakes to finally be told they were out of it. When talked to the server about this saying that it would have been nice to know this before ordering as something else would have been ordered, was told I had an attitude as the server walked away from the table. Then server never came back to the table until she dropped the bill off. I said oh I need to order a to go order. Three times I told her we needed the strawberry icebox pie. She brings the bill back drops it off, I check it and it is wrong to go item. Then had to wait more time for her to come back, I finally asked another server to get her. The whole experience took about 2hours usually our dining experience is much more timely, nice and positive but not this time was frustrating and felt not listened to or appreciated.“

“I moved to the neighborhood from Brooklyn recently. One day while walking around, I passed this unassuming place. The only indication that it was open was a chair outside with a bouquet of flowers to pin down a paper menu to the chair. The menu looked divine.

A few days later I walked past, showing my partner that the place almost seemed closed from the outside but was very cute inside. Someone who worked there came out as we were looking and was very kind, asking us if we had reservations yet. We said no but booked immediately.

The first time I visited, I had the sourdough, Marinated Mussels (hakurei turnips, miso, chili oil), Carrot (crab, brown butter), Shrimp (peaches, coppa, toasted marcona almonds), and Gnudi (corn& basil). It was an entirely no-skips meal. The mussels came cold, out of their shell, and the sauce was incredible. The “carrot” was more like a crab cake with coconut, brown butter, and an unidentifiable but delightful citrus. A perfect balance of rich & light. The gnudi seemed simple, but the lightly spicy sauce really pulled all the ingredients together. Finally, the shrimp with peaches really knocked my socks off. Lots of places will make “seasonal” menus but not put the effort into making sure that produce is top notch. The peaches would’ve been delicious on their own, but with the rest of the dish, they really shined.

The second time I went (just a few weeks later) I got the Chicory Salad (anchovy, buttermilk, comte), the Steelhead Trout (sungold tomato, perilla), and a tuna crudo special. I also re-ordered the bread, the carrot with crab, and the gnudi. Everything was just as good as last time, and the new additions were truly worth trying. Something as simple as a chicory salad can be so hit or miss - but WOW!

For dessert we had the cherry brown butter tart with crème fraiche. No complaints at all here.

Now I’ve rambled on plenty about the delicious food, which I will be back for very soon, but I truly haven’t ever been to a place with better service. The workers are extremely attentive and kind. I felt like I’ve known everyone there for a long time.

“I made reservations for Harry Potter High Tea in April. They promoted it until mid summer. Had reservation for today June 21st for special Birthday. Ridley House took down all Harry Potter stuff, the restaurant was empty. We were seated in baron area with only one other table. The table tops were really beat up as was a lot of fixtures. High Tea was promoted with 3 tiers of food but what my SIL got was so sparse and a joke for $35. Over priced, underwhelming decor and just horrible! We will not be back! Stingers here we come!!“

“We had a small party at Riverwinds on Saturday night. The food was excellent. However, the dessert package is a total ripoff! There was a plate of small desserts ( 1”square pieces of cake, 2 “ eclairs, a chocolate covered strawberry, and a tiny cannoli. There were not even enough for everyone to take one! “Honestly, I rarely get to come here but whenever I do it’s amazing. The owners are always very kind and welcoming. + They treat you like FAMILY. I tend to just get their normal Mac ‘N Cheese and it’s REALLY cheesy! They also have their own area just for kids. It has nice things you can borrow (such as games) to make your experience way more fun! Their menu is very diverse so even if you don’t like Mac ‘N Cheese you’re bound to see something you’ll like. And again on the service. The workers are so kind and whenever I’m talking with the owners it’s as if we’re FAMILY“

“Been a patron of this Applebees for years and found it silly how I haven't given a review yet. Never had any issues here. Rather the experience was in person or through an online order. The staff is always courteous and lovely. There's been some occassions in ehich the manager eould come around asking of how the staff service is. And I never recall being dissatisfied while here. Wish I could be a bit more critical but I always know what to expect when I come here. Good food and good people.

If I would critique anything, there were only a handful of times in which a staff member had us waiting a bit for curbside...but one just has to take into account that this is a restaurant in which the employees are working together but also on top of taking care of the customers who are dining in. And when the service was a bit late, the employees were always very courteous by giving an apology or communicating the wait time to us out in the cars. Once again, I give them total grace as it's a rare occasion.“

Our server Brendon apologized for the delay in getting to our table, explaining that it had been a wild night and they were slightly understaffed (understandable, it was Valentine's Day). After that, though, he was attentive and friendly for the entire meal. The winter salad I ordered was enormous and although it could have used more dressing, it was still enjoyable. My friend's burger came with a generous portion of fries and was phenomenal. For drinks, I opted for their "dealer's choice" option that lets you roll three dice to create a unique off-menu cocktail. It was dangerously tasty and a generous pour. After dinner, we moved to the bar and chatted with the bar manager Jeremy, who was not only also incredibly friendly and great conversation, but knew his way around the bar and came up with another bespoke cocktail when they were out of an ingredient for the drink I originally wanted. Overall, a fantastic experience across the board and definitely my new favorite spot in Media.“

I used to go here more regularly but since I've adhered to my culture/religion more, I avoided places that served pork. Today under certain circumstances I ordered from them but I really wished they at least had some halal breakfast meats. Considering the demographic changes in the neighborhood, a no pork policy would definitely benefit their business. The local mosque would also promote it to their 5k+ local adherents. “Omg! Ralissa is amazing. I called and had an issue with my door dash that charged me to deliver a drink when for some reason all the food got deleted off of the order. They gave me the run around about it and it took forever to even consider them getting a refund. They wouldn't refund me for an accidental 10 dollar drink. But I called and Ralissa asked her higher ups worked her magic and gave me the refund when she cancelled it on her end. I attempted to order through the door dash/Uber site again and this time the food went through. Well guess what was waiting for me in the bag not only did she put the drink that she comp for my hassle but she wrote a note to me that she wanted me to have the drink. It made me feel so special. I called her back and thanked her. I made sure to write this review about her because she really went above and beyond. I pray many blessings on her life and that she never lose that extra light she has!“
