“We were2 senior couples looking for a local bar to have a few drinks before we headed back to our hotel. From the outside, one would might have a modicum of concern before entering.. but we were up for some fun. And that exactly what we found. There was a dart game in progress and the pool table was busy with some locals. We were welcomed by PJ, an absolute lovely local who has been serving drinks here since 2017. The drinks were cold and generous, the conversation delightful and the welcome sincere! The walls are covered with license plates from all over as well as some snappy sayings and the ceilings COVERED with dollar bills signed by patrons over the years ! While we didn't eat , the locals said its one of the best places around, with Vic, the owner shopping all the local markets every day for his supplies. You wont be disappointed if you stop in here .. and if you are lucky enough o be served by PJ , tell her you came because you read this review !“

“Cute and poppin' at brunch on a Saturday. Tables were all reserved but there was room at the spacious bar. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious ? and drinks were a delight to look at and tasted great as well! Will definitely “

“Just devoured the Vegan Poke Bowl at Akhi Sushi at Southern Market Lancaster. I ordered it without the sauce or coconut and added steamed shrimp to keep it more Weight Watchers point friendly. So fresh and delicious and I’m not embarrassed to say I did not need a take-home box!“

“A true delight in the Lancaster area!! The Greenfield Restaurant accommodated our very large party for a business dinner a few months ago. No flaws, and exceptional service. A classy, homey restaurant. Drinks- great! My gauge is always if a place knows how to make my drink signature- a dirty martini with Bombay Sapphire. No vermouth here to be found, it sipped lovingly!!! And for food, after many apps, entrees and desserts with all of our 14, I don't think there was a plate left uncleared. We had the upper, private dinner area. Our server was exceptional- attentive, timed check-ins and orders well taken and delivered. Food was paced appropriately and brought all together - for that many people and when a configuration of stairs is involved for kitchen and bar this is no small feat. For the group, much of the menu was tackled. No complaints whatsoever. Probably the unsung hero of apps was the house smoked salmon dip. Entree favorites were the pork schnitzel and scallops. Homemade spaetzle made those with the pork so happy. Thin, crispy, a beautiful plate with accompaniments. The scallops - Who doesn't love a meal with inspiration? Scallops.....and beech mushrooms! Give Me More!!! Delicious, quirky and unexpected. THIS will be readapted as inspiration. And dessert, I hardly ever eat dessert. But when hearing they had a salted caramel ice cream. Yes and yes! Perfect, creamy ending. Through consistency in service and flavorfulness in food The Greenfield Restaurant should be a Lancaster staple and deserves filled seats for a long time to come!!!“

“This place is AWESOME! The BEST shepperd's pie ever ( made with ? lamb). It was sooooo delicious! The have many draft beer to choose from with excellent prices.The atmosphere there is good, it is relaxing, and cool at the same time! You buy the food, they give you a number and you find your own place to seat. The waitress brings you the food where you are. They brought us the food within 10 mins.The service was great! ? We will come back!? RECOMENDED!“

“Had the privilege of eating here this evening with my colleagues. From the moment we walked in the door we all felt welcomed. Our waitress was phenomenal and made the experience even more fun with her witty personality! Bert came out and told us a little bit about the experience of evolving menu. He was extremely knowledgeable of the beer. This will be a regular stop for now on when I visit Lancaster. 10/10 recommend“

“Dining out is all about service. Staff we met was up beat and friendly. John, who attended us for dinner was spot on at every point in the meal service. Many thanks to him. The food is very well prepared and presented. My partner had the chicken parmesan I had the meatloaf, not on the google review choices. However, I chose because to me it represented a regional food type. And, it was very tasty. We will return for a repeat. Although named a tavern, it is more a fine dining establishment. Lively customers that were charming and relaxing.“

“Had a good time.. beer selection didn't suite my taste but found something to drink and they have many options. Sat at high top at bar and found attention lacking. Music rely on patron touch tunes which was fine most of the time we were there. Food was good. Had rock fish starter.. shrimp tacos and chicken cheese steak with fries all was good except didn't care for the fries. Definitely a local haunt . Comfortable atmosphere.“

“Staff was really cool, food was bangin. Had the hankering for some hotdogs on a Sunday after a baby shower. Stopped through because the dogs were supposedly really good, they were, but so were the borgor and the tendies. The sauces and wiz were yumpy. 10/10 full enforcement.“

“I took my husband to the tavern for his birthday since we were visiting Strasburg and he loves a good reuben. He had the reuben and I had the Smash burger. We travel and have dined out a lot from fine dining to food trucks and I can definitely give the Spring House Tavern 5 solid stars! We’ve had Primanti Brother’s and didn’t give them 5 stars… Besides the entree, we enjoyed the pretzels and, of course, beer! The waitress was attentive but not hovering, the bartender checked in on our drinks and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable (no sticky floors or crumby tables). It’s a gem in downtown Strasburg and definitely worth a go!“

“So many good things to say about the Elks and this Lodge. You feel part of something that’s bigger than yourself. It’s a charitable organization that supports the community in a myriad of ways. There are a lot of opportunities to be of service and support the lodge and it’s efforts. Beyond that, it’s a place for family and friends where a lot of fun happens on the weekend. Live music, games (like music bingo), pool tables, duck pin bowling and more. We’re lucky to have the former chef @ Kegals Seafood, so the food is phenomenal. It’s like walking onto a movie set of Cheers ‘where everybody knows your name’…We love our lodge #134 ❤️“

“Rumplebrewskin’s (or Rump’s as the locals call it) is our local bar that we go to at least once a month. The vibe is super low key and laid back, and the owner and staff are attentive and nice. It’s our go-to place when we don’t want to make the trek to downtown Lancaster. Their cheesesteaks are also pretty good!“

Another must stop while staying in Lancaster. Would imagine it's jammed in the spring and fall.“

“This has become our go-to for drinks and small plates. We have come multiple times for drinks, and ended up staying for dinner because of how enjoyable it is. The vibe is low key, speakeasy. The overhead lights could be dimmed, but we find this is the case at most Lancaster spots. It’s a great date night or place to come with a couple friends. We usually don’t have trouble getting a table but can get busy on the weekends so arrive early. We loved the mussels, oysters, lobster risotto and steak. Their cocktails are all top notch. Highly highly recommend!“

“We had amazing experience here! Joanna, our waitress was funny, kind and so attentive! This would have made our meal… BUT, the food here was exceptional. My husband and I came at the suggestion of an inn keeper as we were in town for a show. I sheepishly told her that we don’t drink beer, only wine. So… we order a lamb burger and a fish & chips sandwich with…wine! And what a meal it was!!!! This place could teach the Jersey Shore a few things about a phenomenal culinary experience at a brewery! Not only was she knowledgeable about the menu, but talked about the different foods and drinks so passionately and in depth that wholeheartedly convinced my fiancé and I to order the specials they had last night, because of how delicious they sounded. She was so friendly, personable, and made us laugh & enjoy our evening. She is a top tier server, and personally gave me the best experience I've ever had with someone bringing us our food & drinks.Reflections is SO lucky to have her... hope she sticks around!The food was IMPECCABLE. Not only do they have a great selection of food, from apps to the entrées to the drinks & desserts, but it was all done SO WELL. “I am absolutely impressed with this place. I’m currently pregnant and really struggling to find things that I enjoy to eat. Meat has been one of the things that I’ve been struggling with. I saw the balsamic glaze chicken on the menu and decided to ask the waiter if it was good and to describe to me what it tasted like since I worried about it being dry and me possibly wasting my money. The waiter mentioned my situation to the chef, Nestor, and the chef proceeded to come out, and asked me exactly how I would like it. He made a glaze and came out with it to let me try it which shocked me. It tasted AMAZING!!!! “This was our first time dining at Lancaster Dispensing Company. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great, and the food was wonderful. The menu is large and varied. Everyone of our party of four was happy. We had appetizers, dinner, dessert, and drinks. We will definitely be coming back.“

Our food was excellent... my burger was cooked perfectly to medium... my husbands wings (mango habanero) were sweet and spicy... just as he had remembered. It was Yuengling night so that was a plus! Our server was attentive and awesome. This is our favorite pub.. it's quirky and unique ... and the food and service are always amazing!!! “Our 1st visit to Parkview Hotel. Stopped in for a couple drinks. Good home town bar. Great atmosphere and true home town feel. Bar tender was great. Place was super busy and bar tender was on top of it keeping everyone with drinks. We live 40 minutes away but whenever we are in the area we will make a point to go to Parkview.“

“I'm from north jersey and we come to Lancaster once a year. We came here on a limb because we couldn't find something that wasn't a chain that was open for lunch besides pubs. When we walked inside and it was completely empty so we were a little skeptical but decided to try it anyways and we are extremely glad we did. This was such a delicious meal. The food was cooked with so much flavor and was super tasty. They also were out of the large pitas and instead gave me two which were much bigger than expected with no added charge.
