“I put in a Reservation for dinner on a weekday thankfully because there was no empty seat at 5:00, they were packed with lines out the door. Best waitress ever, she was always checking on us, briefly conversational. Best food I’ve tasted, very naturally flavorful, all Homemade. The steak was the best steak I’ve ever had for $40 meal, they smoked grilled the top and the middle was moist like it was in a crockpot, I don’t know how they got it taste so wonderful without falling apart. Absolutely the best cheesecake ever, $10/slice but they are HUGE slices like a double cake size and you can taste a homemade sour cream version mixed in it, I’m searching for their recipes online to make at home because it so fabulous. To order a whole cheesecake is $70 and there’s quite the variety. I tried dark chocolate but it tasted like a chocolate moose cake, the coconut cheesecake was good but it’s more like a coconut cake. The original cheesecake hands down is the best I will be going out of my way to order more. I like that they have non-alcoholic fruity drinks I enjoyed. My boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger meal for $20 but he was full after one small sandwich. About $150 for 2 adults 1 child and when I was leaving EVERY person at their tables had a smile on their faces, the customers were actually happy (most places customers are solemn and quietly engaging which is fine), it’s just everyone here was happy. Clean environment except for the pillar next to our booth I can has never been scrubbed, so maybe someone could scrub the pillars/walls. Very positive experience, I want to come back. I’m so glad the quality is top notch and they haven’t lowered that like other chain restaurants.“

“We decided on Juliano's to celebrate our anniversary--the food was outstanding and our waitress Linda was top-notch.Since we mentioned that we were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary--we were given a complimentary desert which capped off a great meal--the "fried dough" was excellent-- which we will order each & every time we come here.“

“We’ve dined twice at Alla Famiglia and it’s the best Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh. Their portions are massive and we’ve always had enough for lunch the next day. The three things we recommend are the grilled octopus appetizer, any of the veal chops, and the seafood diavola. You need to see the size of the veal chops in person as pictures online don’t do it justice. We thought the Cavatappi tasted better than the Cacio pasta, even though Cacio costs more. Overall it’s pricey for Pittsburgh, but the quality is superior and you get enough for lunch the next day. Another tip is get a bottle of their spicy olive oil on the way out. I add it to many dishes for an extra kick and it makes for a great present.“

“This was the first time I’ve been to Noodlehead and will definitely be going back soon, whether it’s to eat in or just order takeout. The Pad Thai was soo amazing and definitely the best I’ve had, and it’s a great price. I can’t wait to get it again and try other noodles also. Love that it’s BYOB as well!“

“It is hard to get a truly homemade cake these days as many of the bakeries use a frozen base and just assemble them. This cake was handmade and perfect in every way! It was a surprise in every layer with the crunch from the chocolate topping to a fudgy middle, creamy delicious frosting and with a bouncy moist cake. So well done!“

“As someone who works in Regent Square, it's so valuable to be able to quickly hop over to Live Fresh and get a smoothie! I go almost everyday to get one of their healthy smoothies. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. The place is a breath of fresh air! I recommend trying the Popeye's with added cinnamon! Delicious and I feel GREAT afterwards.“

“We've been here twice. Tonight we celebrated a 33 year anniversary. I had the scallops, my husband the pork chop. Everything was delicious. Lou greeted us and made us feel like we entered our own dining room. Throughout the night, we heard him greeting several diners warmly. Shannon, guided us on menu options. With champagne (BYOB) and delicious entrees, we had a lovely night. All was topped off with a refreshing key lime dessert. Can't wait to return!!“

Nikki and her team truly care about their couples and their wedding days. We were able to tailor our menu to our liking and keep it in our budget. “We were in town for a baseball tournament and we ordered pizza and wings. Let me tell something. I have tried wings from just about every place I go to and these wings were easily top 3 all time. They even have shipping for baked goods so we can get these delicious baked goods back home in Massachusetts!!! “Anchor & Eat Poke is a Hawaiian restaurant in Wexford which serves fresh poke bowls to the north Pittsburgh area. They offer a variety of fresh ingredients in their poke bowls like salmon, tuna, crab, and chicken. The bowls are colorful and full of flavor. “Road trip from Toronto to Pittsburgh. Stayed here for 4 days.My family members were all craving for Pho. Googled the best pho and Pho Van was top of the list.Quiet Easter Sunday in Strip District but not Pho Van.There was lineup outside of the restaurant. In my mind, it’s gotta be good.I went in the restaurant and checked myself in. There were few people waiting before me. Waited almost 25 mins.It’s weird that they didn’t sit us in when there was a table for 4 people.I asked the staff and they said there was one person in front of me.So, it doesn’t make sense to me if you want to sit 1 person at a 4 people table.anyway, that person got another table and I sit at the table which was ready 10 mins ago.————-Pho:It’s very pricy comparing to Toronto (i know I can’t compare but still…). A bowl of Pho cost me $18 USD (~$25 CAD) and it’s only one size.Soup base was nice. No heavy MSG. I ordered eye round pho. Portion was ok (Large size in Toronto), meat portion was just ok. I expected more for this price.The noodle was thinner than Toronto. It was nice.Spring rollIt was delicious. Freshly made. Not those frozen one we have in Toronto. “Went before my haircut a few doors down and was packed not a seat in the house and was just as good as ever....had the eggs Benedict regular no fancy frills and it doesn't disappoint. 2 girls running around servicing the entire place but they make it worth the visit everytime“

“I come with my husband for lunch. We always get the lunch special and he LOVES the soup that comes with it. I adore the Tum Yum veggie soup. The summer roll is so fresh and the crab app is crispy and always hot. It’s a family owned business so that just makes it even better. You can’t go wrong with anything you get. I loved the assortment and the specialty Pittsburgh inspired cookies. I’ve never ordered baked goods through the mail before, so I was worried about how they would arrive. However, they were neatly packaged and individually wrapped! And they were still soft. This place also allows you to add a custom message which was added as a sticker on the inside of the box. “Started my Pittsburgh foodie adventures in this adorable little sit-down pizza restaurant in Shadyside! We tried the Pizza Del Re (white pizza) and Pizza Della Casa (red pizza), and both lived up to the hype! Pizza Del Re: - White pizza with mozzarella, truffle spread, & prosciutto (it comes with mushrooms too, but we got it without because my boyfriend doesn't like mushrooms) - A super rich truffle taste that was so yummy - Loved the thin crust, but there were parts that tasted a little too burnt Pizza Della Casa: - Red tomato sauce pizza with mozzarella, grape tomatoes, arugula, prosciutto, & parmigiano - I love the combination of prosciutto & arugula and it was a plus that the arugula tasted so fresh & wasn't bitter - I personally prefer red sauce over white sauce, so I liked this pizza a little bit more To top off your meal here, make sure to get their gelato for dessert! I got a small size with 2 flavors -- tiramisu and hazelnut. Both flavors were super rich and yummy and definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.“

“We tried Antonio’s for the first time tonight. We ordered a deep dish pizza with pepperoni and the general tso’s chicken pizza. Both pizzas looked and tasted amazing. I don’t find many places that put fried chicken on pizza, so I appreciate the unique menu items. This style and quality of food is exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back.“

“Went here for dinner. I had the gnocchi bolognese and it was terrific. They don't over salt their dishes and the portion was big. My wife had the chicken Parm and that was very good too. They use a thinner breading which doesn't make for a crunchy chicken cutlet.The place is cozy but that just adds to the atmosphere. And the service was great as well.I would definitely recommend a reservation as a smaller place this good fills up quick.“

“Zuppa’s is a casual local restaurant that serves foods such as soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis, sides, and desserts. Foods can be ordered in person or online for takeout or delivery.I purchased several foods from here, and they all tasted very good. I recommend the veggie panini, mac and cheese, spoon bread, corn and shrimp chowder, and lobster bisque.“

I have had duck at other asian restaurants and it sometimes comes out rather tough and chewy. But I had the duck birds nest here and it was alot more smooth and tender. “We went to Sunday morning Mass and happened to pull up Caffe Mona. It was OUTSTANDING. We are from Denver Colorado and we ate some good food in Pittsburg on our graduation/33rd wedding anniversary. Caffe Mona went to the top of the list for Pittsburg. BEST BREAKFAST in the City. My wife and I split two Gourmet Crepes - the Farmer and the Elvis. Mmmmmmmm! “Amazing food! Truly delicious Italian food, and some of the best I’ve had in a long time. It’s a hidden gem that goes unnoticed way too much. A perfect place to get upscale food and classic Italian-American food. I tried the Pick a Pasta with vodka sauce and penne and a mini peanut butter chocolate bombe for dessert.Both items were stellar. The pasta was perfectly cooked, not too soggy or too Al dense. The sauce had a nice balance of sweetness and creaminess, with that tomato bringing in a touch of acidity. Great portion for the price, too. Highly recommend it.The bombe was a lovely little dessert, and the perfect size for a person (you might be able to split if you’re too stuffed). Rich peanut butter and chocolate, tasty cake. Very good for the price. And very clearly made in house.They also gave me some complimentary bread, which was absolutely delicious. A humongous piece of bread! Topped with some seeds, and it goes perfectly with the olive oil they added in as well. So delicious.All in all, this place is amazing. “I really enjoyed this kinda hidden Italian gem! It's just the right size - not too big with an overdone menu. Enough choices but not overwhelming. The bruschetta was very good, but, for me, th spinach ricotta ravioli was mouth melting deliciousness! My friend ordered the penne with meatballs which was also a big hit. To finish our meal we decided on canole, yum! My only disappointment was the bread - nothing special, nor did it seem much like what I had in Italy. The wine list had some nice options... the Aldo Conterno Bussia Barolo caught my attention (yeah, we ordered it - def decant). The balsamic/olive oils served were above par and also loved the copper wrapped tables and rustic elegance. Service was great. They also had little gift package "meal kits" which I thought was a clever idea. Def would go here again!“

“I've never been a guest. I've been in this place a few times picking up delivery orders. Most of the time, my order is packed up and ready in 5 minutes. That's five minutes I get to watch a pool game, think about coming back, maybe, to play a game. Once, someone called off so they were short staffed and I got to listen to the music and just relax for, like, 20 min. I didn't make budget on that trip, but I usually do, so it all levels out.This is a really friendly, hospitable place. The food must be good, too, cause people order it even if they haven't got time to go.“

“A Sweet Morsel is my go to bakery. I recommend it to anyone in the North Hills area. I’ve worked with them for custom cupcakes for an event we hosted and most recently for a baby shower cake. Everyone always raves about how delicious desserts are. They’re extremely responsive and easy to work with.On the weekends I try to stop by to pick up their thumbprints, cookie sandwiches, or the peanut butter skillet bars (which do not last long in our house as they’re so good!!).“

“While in the area I was craving Thai food and my friend mentioned she knew of a good place nearby. We stopped by around 1130 on a Sunday and it was almost empty when we got there. We were seated right away and ordered a bunch of different foods to share including mussamun curry, pad see ew, pad kee mow, Thai noodle soup, chicken satay, and Thai iced tea. I'd say everything was really good with the exception of the kee mow. It had veggies in it that I've never had in it before and I just didn't love it as much I have at other places. The mussamun was delicious and the noodle soup is something I've never had before but will definitely be on my radar from now on. The inside was nice, the staff was really friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly. Overall I thought it was a good experience and I would go back!“

“Food was decent . The waiter was fast and he food was timed well. Only issue was the appetizer was a bit on the small size and seemed over fried. Maybe they fry it and then set it aside and then fry it again when ordered to heat it up. Other than that I liked the res of the food and the atmosphere.“
