The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art. “We had one evening in Scranton, and I was the one grabbing sweets for our groups dietary restrictions. I called Donna and asked if she would be able to accommodate. She went above and beyond! The GF-Vegan Cupcakes I ordered were waiting in a box for me, and she was so patient since we came right at closing time. Her flavors were DIVINE! The love and care that went in to our treats was something special! I love pretty food, but what a win when the food tastes better than it looks! Thank you Donna! “To preface, I'm the pickiest of eaters...We literally just devoured our meals (mine-meatloaf w mashed potatoes and scalloped potatoes. Hubby's- chicken cutlets w vodka penne pasta and a salad) and it was so freaking delicious. I ate everything, except the mashed bc was full, and am looking forward to the next meals that Trixie puts up online. I highly recommend checking out out bc I promise you won't be disappointed.“

“Our long time friends and coworkers met there for the first time and it was FABULOUS! Carol was a doll and so interesting to talk with. Her homemade soup, finger sandwiches and desserts (try her homemade scones and homemade whipped crème) were delicious. We certainly didn’t go away hungry. Her vintage style was heartwarming. She kept filling our cups with hot water in the many teapots that she has collected, along with the many types of tea. Oh I forgot to mention she even stenciled the dining room floor!! We will certainly be back.“
