“This was my first visit to OFF The Hook, but it won't be my last. It was a birthday celebration on a Monday night. ATMOSPHERE: We sat in the outdoor/indoor seating area with fireplaces, it was cozy, quiet and comfortable. I was told this section opens up during the warm weather months. SERVICE: Our waitress (I wish I could remember her name) was excellent! She was very attentive to our small group. FOOD: There were no complaints! Everything was delicious. I tried oysters for the first time, they were actually good. The salmon fettuccine and caesar salad....so so good! If this restaurant wasn't such a drive my home, I would have had a cocktail or glass of wine, there were plenty to choose from. Overall, this was a great experience!“

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

My husband was celebrating his 50th birthday and we decided to do catering through them. My expectations weren’t only met but exceeded substantially! Everything was delicious as usual—we ordered mixed fajitas, choripollo, rice and beans, chips and queso. I did a pickup order and everything was labeled and packaged well for quick set up. “This was probably the best fried chicken I've ever had! We had legs and thighs, mac and cheese and fries, and dessert. Loved the seasonings on the chicken, the mac and cheese was delicious, very cheesy and creamy. Fries were great, and I'm not even a big fry person. Haven't tried the cheesecake yet. The service was good, we waited about 15 min because the the place was moderately busy and the food is done fresh. If we were local, we would eat here often! I highly recommend this place!“

“I have too many words to share to describe this establishment. Tonight was my first experience dining here, after a day date with my boyfriend we decided we were in the mood for hibachi. The first mistake we made was driving from Robinson to Carnegie to dine at Benihana‘s. Within thirty minutes of being there, we left (but that’s another story) Unsatisfied and still very hungry, we decided to stop in at Sapporo’s. They didn’t open until 4:30 (at this time it was 4PM) and noticing the website says reservations only, I called to make sure it was okay we dine in. The man on the phone said what time can you be here and I informed him we were already in the parking lot. He told me “I’ll see you in thirty minutes” The moment we walked in we already knew we made the right decision. The table we sat at was full of kind people. Everyone was talking, sharing stories, laughing etc. it literally felt like we were sitting at the dinner table with FAMILY. The chef came out who happens to be the owner. A one man show, and boy did he kill it! The food was so fresh. I had the filet and scallops and it was cooked to perfection. Not only did he make a great meal. He shares stories himself, took the time to actually enjoy our company and show his appreciation that we were there. He must be the sweetest man I’ve ever met. His wife was very pleasant as well! The waitress was so accommodating and very on top of things with her being the only one there. I honestly think this is the longest review I ever made… I could go on and on but long story short, you will NOT be disappointed with Sapporos.! Living nearly 5 minutes away, this will be our forever date night spot!“
