The thing that really stands out besides the food is the owners, they are extremely Nice people and have always been kind to me every single time Ive went inside. “If you’re looking for a solid dining experience in Wyomissing, Coastal Grille is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know much about this place going in, but I’m really glad I went and I’ll definitely be back. Walking in, the first thing you’ll notice is a beautiful, large fish tank built right into the wall on your right. The restaurant is dim and upscale-feeling, but still very family-friendly and not loud or overstimulating, so you can actually have a conversation. They have both booths and tables, and the space is very open and spread out. As a parent, you can even strategically seat your family in view of the fish tank or the windows to give the kids something to look at. It’s great for a casual family dinner, a date night, or even a birthday celebration. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no ramps, you can roll right in to your table. It’s located in a plaza but set apart, so parking was never an issue. Plenty of spots, including handicap parking up front with just a short walk to the entrance. They have a solid variety on the menu including alligator bites, burgers, pasta, salads, and more. It is on the higher end price wise. Most entrees start around $14 and up, and even the kids meals begin at $8.90. The cocktail menu is extensive and the dessert menu is worth a look too. They also have a lunch menu where prices vary a bit more favorably. I ordered the Coastal Cheddar cheeseburger burger with no tomatoes and it was excellent. Very fresh, well seasoned, and served with shoestring fries that were equally on point. They also bring out a ciabatta loaf with butter to start, which was a really nice touch. Food came out quickly (always a plus). The staff is genuinely incredible. There’s a tag team mentality where anyone on the floor can help you, refill your drink, or check on your table. My server was very attentive, and even when they got busy someone always stepped in. No reservations needed, at least when I went which was on a Sunday around 1pm. Highly recommend!“

“if you want awesome food at very reasonable prices this is the place. always perfectly prepared food. my fave filet and lobster and the prime rib even the baked potato is great. we have never been disapointed in over 10 yrs of going here. if you can handle it they have a 1.5 lb lobster tail and 1.5 lb ribeye combo . this is the ONLY place i ever had lobster that wasnt overcooked and tasted as fresh as when i get them right off the boat in maine. nice portions and very fair prices the owner is the cook. .354 reviews and only 6 negative ones should tell the story“

“I’m just passing through while traveling. This was an amazing experience. The owner spent time telling me the history of the restaurant. The chef even came out to get my opinion on a new dish he was creating. Every person that worked there had an awesome personality and was very welcoming! I can’t remember the last time a place made such an impact on me. The was immaculately clean! The food was delicious. And the overall ambiance was amazing!“

“ordered the #9 (shrimp, mussels, snow crab leg, corn, potato, & broccoli) through doordash & was really impressed. i added a side of sausage with a note asking if they could cut it up & mix it in the boil if possible & they followed the request exactly so my boil came ready to eat!

everything arrived hot, flavorful, & packaged well. the garlic butter sauce was sweeter than i expected but i enjoyed it. the seafood tasted fresh. definitely one of those meals where you immediately stop talking because you’re too busy eating 😭 would absolutely order again“

“The BBQ sauce and hot sauce taste great. Their general tso/sesame chicken tastes really good, the sauce is better than most spots I've tasted in the reading area, maybe all to be quite honest. Good on them, and they're close by if you live around city park.
Their shrimp in garlic sauce with vegetable fried rise is my go to dish. Plenty of vegetables, the shrimp taste good, the garlic sauce tastes great, and nothing tastes burnt, which was a problem i was having with a few spots around here. If i wanna get chinese food, this is my go to spot. I'll be trying the other dishes like the sweet and sour chicken and spare rib tips to see how they match up with the other spots.

Overall very pleased with the cooking here, will be a customer for quite a while, haha.
