“We came on a day they were closed for Homecoming- just passing through town on our way home to Virginia. We just so happened to pull up at the same time with one of the owners. Not only was he extremely friendly and generous helping us out even if they were closed, but we had one of the best ice creams ever! Thank you for your kindness, sir!?“

“We love stopping at The Igloo with our dog for an avalanche and a doggie dish! Their prices are fair and the avalanches are always mixed well! It’s nice to have the mix ins mixed all the way through and not just have an inch of just ice cream at the bottom of the cup.“

About half way into it though, it started to taste not real and very aerated, and worst of all, suspiciously not melty - and we walked in the sun on a hot day. Wouldn't get the soft serve again unfortunately.“
