“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

“I love Adelie Coffee House. The coffee is simply delicious! It's rich, smooth, aromatic, soothing - like a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer. I've only tried the cheese danish. It was very good. The baristas are great - all of them. The coffee house itself is bare bones, yet clean and cozy. You have the option to sit outside if you like. I'm so glad this little gem is right down the street from my house.💜“

“I’d eat a dirty shoe if it was between two slices of the rosemary focaccia. I have been have trouble deciding between the BLP and the Chipotle Chicken Club so I’ve started getting both (BLP for breakfast and CCC for lunch). The food is incredible, but somehow still lives in the shadow of the service. Some environments just don’t allow negative energy and this is one of them. You walk in and are immediately greeted by the friendly owner and the smell of fresh coffee and some cheddar biscuits/coffee crumble cake. Not sure if I misheard but I’m pretty sure someone ordered a Rosemary Latte…. I didn’t know that was a thing, but I plan on investigating next time I go in. 10 out of 5 stars for sure!“

“This was girlfriend and my second time going to DaVinci and Yu. We originally went because we won a gift card in a raffle, and we were reasonably skeptical of Italian Asian fusion food. With that said everything we've had has been absolutely amazing. At this point we've tried the ribs, salmon, meatballs, risotto, and dumplings. All of the meat has been tender and cooked to perfection with well balanced and interesting takes of tradition Asian and Italian sauces. Pairing with that we've tried most of the cocktails. They have a good mix of fruity modern cocktails and more classic cocktails, most which have a fun twist. I especially enjoyed the nonna and negroni. The staff is also incredibly friendly. It felt like being invited to a dinner party with that one friend who can cook, but with nicer decor.“

“An opportunity to see a nice band, Southern Avenue, in a small venue. Sound was pretty good given the confines of the space which has glass all along the side of one wall. Service was mediocre. While the menu was interesting, seems like the kitchen was having issues with execution. Needed another couple runners and probably two more waiters/waitresses with a full house. Won't go back for food but if the music is good would get a seat at the bar.“

The fufu and egusi soup was sooo tasty! My picky teen daughter was even devouring it. I will be back to try different items on the menu. It’s definitely a hidden gem. One was in a friendly, family environment that went over backwards to please you-- and it felt like you were being take care of by family -- in a small comfortable town in Israel. The Halomi salad's taste reminded one of someplace in the Galil that was so good and so impossible to find of any quality anywhere in the whole US; the mushroom wheel so unique and tasty that it could not be forgotten.“

It was a cafe filled with Eastern Europeans from middle age to elderly men mostly smoking cigars and cigarettes, mind you it’s 830am Sunday morning. I walked over to the cafe and asked for an espresso to go. Great coffee and great environment. This has to be the coolest cafe I have ever visited, I wish I got the gentleman’s name who pulled my shot he was really nice. Not sure if I was allowed to enter or not, hopefully I can come back and have a conversation along with another espresso.“
