“I grew up on homemade Middle Eastern food made daily by my parents, so I’m very picky when it comes to authenticity. I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. The meat is 100% Halal and you can taste the quality. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. **This is the kind of spot you want to support. “Genuinely, do not sleep on this place. The food is out of this world. So good, so flavorful, and so wonderfully cooked. I had this place on my radar after they made the Inquirer's Best Falafel list, and it exceeded my expectations. It's also surprisingly affordable as far as take-out goes. Our delivery order of two sandwiches, two platters, and an order of baba ganouj was only $60, including GrubHub fees and driver tip. The portions are great. You'll be satisfied and full. I will absolutely be a regular customer moving forward.“

“The pilaf is dry, the rice is always undercooked, and the pilaf itself is tasteless, lacking the wonderful, rich flavor that this delicious dish should have.
I recommend adding more salt when preparing the zirvak* adding more carrots (there clearly aren't enough in the dish), and steaming the rice until fully cooked. Currently, it seems the rice is undercooked by about 20%.

Update: The pilaf is much better now. I recommend it 👍“

“New York Famous Gyro Halal Food is a total winner — 5 stars for me! The food is spot-on: juicy, well-seasoned chicken/beef gyro with fresh veggies, perfect white sauce, and that classic NYC street-cart flavor in a clean, quick-serve spot. Portions are generous and everything tasted fresh.
Service was fast and friendly — guys behind the counter were welcoming and got orders out lightning quick even during the rush. Atmosphere is no-frills (classic halal cart/truck vibe inside), but super clean and welcoming.
Great value too — solid meal for around $10–12 per person. If you’re craving authentic NYC halal gyro without the wait, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend!“

“TRUST ALL THE 5 STAR REVIEWS!!! I have passed by this place on my way to work and back home again everyday for as long as it's been open. For whatever reason I never decided to stop. I pulled up around 8:30pm which is just a half hour until they close and had no issue getting served. I got the lamb over rice and it was absolutely amazing. The white sauce is soooooo good. The man running the place seemed like a nice guy too. I'm not one to take the time to write a review, but this food was so good that I felt it necessary to leave one. I can say for certain that I will now be a regular here. Enjoy!“

“Wife and I ate here several months ago. We thought it was good value for the food. We had the one sandwich, tender with fries. The chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious. Not as good as what you find in Nashville, but the freshness of the tender and sandwich earned it 5/5. The fries were decent, but not the star of the show.“

“When I first tried Dave's, it was amazing!! Sadly, the quality of the finished product began to decline, many times the food would be room Temperature and the chicken was dry. The great mix of classic rock, yacht rock, pop, and old school Motown started evolving into urban, hip-hop, rap, and even hardcore with explicit lyrics. However, it appears that upper management has literally cleaned house, and trained an entirely new team and manager, creating a wonderful, culturally diverse crew. The music reverted to the mix it was always meant to be, and the food was back to excellent! Perfectly cooked, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, and still hot when you arrive to pick up your order! Great job, and a great place to take out from or eat in. Once again. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner tonight and commend them on taking the difficult steps to turn this location around, heading back in the right direction!! “This was my first time visit and I tried fried fish, not exagerating but their fish was so fresh, tasety and properly served. I tried fish from dozens of food trucks but I urge to rate number 1 here. I plan to visit again for fish and may be some other food which must be good. Place was very hygenic and staff including William and Abdul Rehman were so curteous and friendly. Must recommend this food place.“

“@halal_mexican is a hidden gem in Philadelphia that has some of the best HALAL Mexican cuisine that I’ve ever tasted. I love that I was able to find a Mexican halal spot. Pictured: -Flautas -Shrimp Chimichanga -Mini Corn on the Cob -Chicken Tacos -Steak Burrito Bowl My favorite item from there has to be the flautas. It’s a deep fried rolled chicken tacos served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Highly recommend this restaurant to all those seeking a tasty mexican restaurant with good service and halal food! I've never done that with any other restaurant. The gentleman I spoke to leaving the restaurant the other night said he drove 40 minutes to come enjoy the food. All of the food is very fresh. They are always cooking fresh chicken and beef. All the veggies are a great addition to the platter along with the fresh rice that is always being replenished. The hummus is very good and when you add the chili based hot sauce and mix it up, it's heaven. For those who can't handle the heat, there's their very popular "white sauce". King of Prussia is always very busy. Please do not let "Bobby Bobby" deter you from going to The Halal guys. He clearly doesn't understand the restaurant business......no crime. Look at his bowl. It has chicken and rice ONLY. Evidently he thinks since he is afraid of eating veggies that the rest of his bowl should be filled with extra meat. Sorry Bobby Bobby; that is not how any restaurant works. This place gives a ton of food. I rarely finish my small bowl and have never ordered a large one. In this business you could have the best product and location but take away top notch customer service and a highly dedicated GM/owner and get ready for your "Grand Closing". Caesar has been the GM at KOP for years now and I've never seen him have a bad day. He always has a smile on his face and treats all of his customers with the utmost respect. His customer service is exceptional. This is extremely rare. How do I know this? 35 years in the restaurant industry. Hail Caesar!!“

“I can’t even lie — Hot Clux got one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. I’ve been there multiple times and they stay consistent every visit, no matter which location you pull up to.

My go-to is the Loaded Dirty Bird Special. That joint is seriously one of the best things on the whole menu — packed with flavor, filling, and just hits every time. If you don’t know what to order your first time, start there. Trust.

They also got great drinks to pair with your meal, and the quality of the food is always on point. Never had a sloppy or disappointing order from them.
