“I stopped here one Saturday on my way home from center city and had a very good evening. I opened the door and was greeted by a friend who performs at so many local drinking establishments in Northeast Philly. As it was a spontaneous decision to go here I was very surprised to see him. Located on Rhawn Street off of Frankford Avenue in Mayfair/Holmesburg. It has an latge open area for music and dancing with long straight bar. I didn't have the food so I can't rate it. Our barmaid/server Laurie was friendly, witty and an excellent host. I met several friendly and engaging people here and will surely stop back.“

“I stopped in here during Happy Hour one Friday afternoon and had a very enjoyable time. I met some friendly people and engaged in some good conversations with the regular customers. Mostly concerning sports and alcohol beverages. All three bartenders were excellent servers and quickly replenished our drinks. Can't wait until they start serving food as they just reopened under new management. It's a small place with just a straight bar but it was a friendly atmosphere.“

“It's a nice little place to get a sandwich or a drink. There are plenty of booths and a bar to sit at in Glenside. This is a staple in Glenside that has been here for years. This is a Hallmark place to go to for a dinner or a snack or a cold drink. Everyone knows the Pub.“

To make it worse, one of the twelve was a total runt — tiny, scrawny, barely any meat. So it was more like 11 wings.

The rest were a decent size — plenty of meat, which is really their saving grace. But they weren’t cooked evenly. A few were overdone and dry, while others were fine. The sauce could’ve definitely used another toss, too. They came out a little dry and the flavor was just… basic. Greasy, too. Honestly, if they used a copycat of S&H’s wing sauce, then the price would make sense.

Got my boys a small personal pizza — pretty much what you’d expect for a bar-style pie. Nothing bad, nothing standout.

The real MVP? The hand-cut fries!!!

“It's a friendly neighbo4hood bar that has a few gaming machines for us degenerate gamblers. Located nearby Frankford hospital in case you hit a big jackpot and go into cardiac arrest. It is a friendly group of people that appear to frequent this Tavern so go ahead on down and enjoy yourself.“

“I ordered through Door Dash which was a mistake. I tried to get Door dash to correct and finally called the Bucks Pub. My order was remade and delivered by the chef. The food was banging. Ordered the quesadillas, burger, shrimp hush puppies and the napoleon pastry and it was all delicious. The customer service was wonderful and the chef an absolute sweetheart for delivering my food. . If you are in the area stop in you wont be disappointed.“

Chambers not only accommodated us, but gave prompt service and excellent food - and yes I had a beer (naughty me) from their varied and smartly-chosen offerings, which are the BEST in Doylestown IMO! And of course our superb Server Olivia, who was friendly, super-Professional and attentive! They also feature live music on weekends (in the cozy bar at the front, have a nice dining room, and also an additional bar next door called ‘The Other Side,’ which is accessible from main Restaurant, and is ‘wilder!’ Definitely a great place to visit!“

“We had a large party of 30 that they handled flawlessly. This was after 2 small pairs of two tested it out independently. The reservation went without a hitch. Best description is elevated bar food, with a few diners thrown in there. Or party had everything from a kids hot dog to Caribbean jerk chicken with mango salsa and cauliflower rice. It was a classic Irish bar and we were warmly greeted by the hostess Carolyn, who was very friendly and made us feel right at home. “Sending out a big thank you to Wilson’s pub. It was my sisters 60th birthday party we were supposed to celebrate at another bar who promised to reserve tables to accommodate her family and friends 30 of us . When we arrived, they told us that they could not reserve all of the tables that they said earlier they would.. no apology no nothing. Needless to say we left that bar flooded Wilson’s with approximately 25 people. They gave us the whole side room. Drinks were great. We ordered food and I believe the cook brought it right out to us his self.. great bartenders great food ….they could not have been nicer or more accommodating would definitely recommend Wilson’s to anyone“

“good spot to eat in the backroom which hardly anyone knows about LKim is great good food . Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“

“We had not been to the Jarrettown on a weekend evening in a very long time. I had forgotten about the live music. The music talent situated in the bar area was terrific. He performed music from the 60s to current melodies. Our busgirl was very polite and pleasant and ensured that we always had water. She even boxed our leftovers for us which was really appreciated. Our entire meal was delicious. The cream of mushroom soup with pancetta was extraordinary. Our entrees-the salmon and the Jarrettown chicken-looked as if they came from a culinary magazine. The beautiful appearances of these two dishes were equally matched by how great that they tasted....out of this world. In addition the entrees arrived at the appropriate temperatures which is really important to us. We capped the meal off with with raisin bread pudding with vanilla ice cream.“
