“Service was great considering how crowded the place was. The waitress was quick and attentive. My dissapointment came in the misrepresented chicken Chesapeake. I asked for no cheese, not a big deal, when it came out with cheese I asked to have it fixed. No problem, it came back out with no cheese. Now it's naked crab meat on a chicken breast. I asked the sender who delivered it where is the imperial sauce ? The menu says it has it ? He took it back to the kitchen, came back out and said this is how they make it. Well the menu says it has imperial sauce on it ? Which is one of the yummy ingredients I was expecting. False advertising.... I'd try the place again, just wish the menu was correct.“

“Was a little disappointed in the pork belly, it seemed to not have been cooked long enough as it was tough. The classic short ribs were however perfection.Ambiance is wonderful, with a very cozy atmosphere. Reservations recommended!! A bit pricey, but when they get it right it is certainly worth it.“

“This place is a country bar with a with a lot of regulars. I generally only get here in the fall when I'm in the Glenville area hunting. The people here are nice and the food is pretty good. Always a nice place to stop at after being in the field all day. Just one thing, they allow smoking inside. Minus the smoking, I always enjoy myself here.“

“We were in Abbottstown to get new wheels for our van at L&M. It was dinner time and we decided to stop at Altland House Grill & Pub on the way home. Excellent. We sat on the porch and had a nice relaxed time. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had the flatbread and fish and chips. The food was tasty and it was fun to watch the traffic navigating the traffic circle as we ate. The price was reasonable.“

“My husband and I came here for date night. The building is old and refurbished and beautiful. We ordered the goat cheese apple pecan salads, the cayenne butter bread, the sausage and meatballs with burrata and the pan roasted salmon. We also had the linzer cookies, chocolate mousse, and frozen key lime pie. All of the food was delicious. Especially the salmon. The only thing that was kind of bland was the cayenne butter for the bread. Otherwise everything was great. We will return.“

“Stopped by again for a weekday lunch - this time we had a Short Rib Grilled Cheese & an Old English Melt .......aaannnd of course the signature basket of chips with Balsamic Vinaigrette drizzle & sprinkled Parm. Could go there for nothing but the chips! But I must say both sandwiches were AWEsome! We made reservations since it was the Monday of Valentine's week but, although busy, the place wasn't slammed. Our server was attentive & everything came out in a timely fashion - love the ambience! Lot of dark wood & copper which lends to the historical feel or the venue (Inn goes back to 1763) - always enjoy stopping in! (still) Highly recommended!“

“The Altland House is my go to place when I'm visiting in the area. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the food is great, and the prices are quite reasonable. Lexie was the hostess during my most recent stay. She is a delightful young lady who seems to enjoy going out of her way to accommodate the Inn's guests. Truly a memorable experience.“

“I haven't eaten anything that wasn't delicious yet! The drinks are good and decently priced. You are allowed to smoke in the bar, so if cigarettes bother you, it's probably not the place to go for you. You can take your drinks into the bowling alley and play a few games while you drink! I always have a good time there.“

“Murphys Hall is way bigger then what it looks like from outside. The music was amazing a live DJ was doing his thing pool tables and a ping pong table. The food was good with All kinds of drinks. Clean very mellow spot for the college kids (21-26)“

Chad remembers your drink of choice and keeps them coming. Ambiance is good. I have to spend a few good dollars to play the music I enjoy listening to but that's ok, This is my go to spot for Happy Hr .“

“This bar is smoking. Nice size bar and no complaints on staff. The owner is fantastic, and it's not surprising to see him behind the bar. They have 3 diamond pool tables that are typically open, but double check in case it's a pool league night. Food is typical bar food (i.e. burgers, nachos, etc) but still good.“

“It is a place that feels like a pub where everybody knows your name. Of course I am a mug club member. I really like their beer. The food is pub fair, I think some of the best burgers in York. The hot dogs are definitely the best, even though they took off the German dog... “My first time at this course and I'll have to say, I really really like it and I'll definitely be coming back. Greens are a little fast and it was even wet today. Excellent condition throughout the course. Greens are very nice and at times challenging, but a really fun course to play, and the price is very reasonable considering how nice the course is. “Wonderful family style bar and grill. Food is great, service is super. Only thing is not having brewed iced tea. But I survived with bottled tea. We live in York and it was a rainy day and we wanted somewhere to go. We definitely will go again. The ribs they serve on Sunday (??) are fantastic. Stop by and enjoy. You won't regret or forget the stop.Parking: Plenty of free parking and if necessary there is an empty car lot across the street. Probably parking for 100 vehicles.“

“I'm in love with the staff here. I don't think I've ever seen better service.The food was excellent, the Mango wheat beer was smooth, and I felt like the price was reasonable. Get the Buffalo Cauliflower. I had my doubts, but I almost ordered a second helping it was so good.Pretty strong chance I might become a regular here. “A fully stocked bar with a restaurant attached. I ordered the Chicken Chesapeake and it was quite tasty. The sauce was delicious and as advertised it was a chicken breast topped with a decent portion of jumbo lump crab meat. My chicken was a little on the dry side BUT the sauce remedied that quickly. I dined at the bar and the service was fast and friendly. I also ordered a lemon drop martini and it was exactly as strong and tasty as I needed it to be. The lighting is a bit on the darker side in my opinion but it does help set the mood for a fun date night. There is ample parking as this restaurant is located inside the Wyndham Garden hotel.
