“For awhile, there was some turnover in the cook staff and the service and food was not very good to be honest. Some of these issues seem to have been fixed and changes have been made for the better. Service is much faster and food quality has improved. If you haven't been there in some time, give it another chance. I'm glad to be patronizing again.“

“This was my first time going and picking up food from Goofys. I had heard nothing but positive about them. We order boneless chicken wings, bone in wings, shoestring fries and wedges. Everything was yummy. I'm the future,I will ask for my wing sauce on the side. It is too much for me. But that's me. Yes, they have that they charge you 1.00 per celery, 1.00 per ranch on their website. So be aware. It adds up. They are a cash only establishment. They have that on their website and they tell you when you order. My food was on time and accurate. Loved the atmosphere! Seems like a nice neighborhood bar with a small eating area that has really good food. Will be back again!“

“Went on a busy Friday night but hostess was able to accommodate myself and two daughters. I was in a rush and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of service by the wait staff and kitchen. Everyone was pleasant, food was excellent (kids had burgers and fries and I had the chicken sandwich). Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!“

“We visited this location on 4/4/2026. We decided to eat here since it's close to.the college my son attends. This was our first time ever eating at Cheddar's. The food and service was excellent. My son loved the Buffalo chicken wraps. My daughter got the tender meal but only at the fries, because she ate some of my wife's steak. Normally we have to find a place that serves lamb for her to eat something other than tenders when we go out.“

“We just celebrated our Dover Area High School graduate this past Saturday (5/31/25) at the Roosevelt Tavern, and everything—from the food to the atmosphere to the service—was absolutely FANTASTIC.

What made the day even more meaningful is the personal connection we have with this place. The father of my children, Edward “Peewee” Green, was a chef here many years ago under the previous owner, Bob Schimmel. Sadly, he passed away in November of 2012. Though my kids were only 4 and 5 years old at the time, many patrons still fondly remember him and speak so highly of his time at the Roosevelt.

What we didn’t expect—what truly left us speechless—was the incredible gesture from the current owner. Unbeknownst to us, he had held onto one of Peewee’s old chef coats for the past 15 years, and he gifted it to our graduate during the celebration. That thoughtful, deeply touching act gave our kids a priceless piece of their father’s legacy—a physical connection to a man they’ve heard so much about, but lost too soon.

We are forever grateful for that moment. It meant the world to me and to our family. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.“

Our waitress was Alyssa she was wonderful helping me with my food allergies very thoughtful you have a wonderful worker in her.I had the ham with baked potato and cottage cheese my husband had the 2 smoked pork chops with a baked potato and cucumber salad the meal was wonderfully cooked well and so delicious Thank you for a great experience eating at you restaurant.“

They were patient with GrubHub and my husband as all 3 worked together in rectifying the situation (which was no fault of the restaurant). They not only offered to deliver our order themselves (so we could stop dealing with GrubHub), but also gave us an additional pizza!! Ps. The bacon cheese fries were LOADED in cheese & bacon & they were absolutely delicious. We will certainly be stopping here more often (rather than ordering through GrubHub).“

“Tried it for the first time got the classic burger with bacon pieces and it was absolutely amazing and I let my daughter have a bite a she wanted to eat my whole burger… started running around the house yelling burger.. 😂 also ordered the Pierogi’s and they were good as well.. definitely worth trying. But we don`t get there for breakfast much because you changed your hours. For us 10am is to late when you get up around 6am.Please try to open around 8am. “Great place with both outdoor and indoor seating. They have crabs, seafood, and broasted chicken. There are a good assortment of sides. The broasted chicken was awesome, and my wife really liked the crabs. It's a casual place with a nice casual atmosphere. It can be loud. We spent about $60 for the two of us, including the tip. That's comparable to what we spend at Mission or Red Robin and less than we typocally spend at Long Horn. Hanover is about an hour and a half from where we live. Today we were in the area for other reasons and decided to give Big Mike's a try. We will definitely come back, just to eat here, even if we don't have any other reason to go to Hanover.“

I was disappointed in the appetizer selection. There were 3 soups, Brussels sprouts and crab dip. I was hoping for a few more options as our friends don’t like Brussels and I didn’t want soup to snack on. So we had crab dip and a lite fair item. Everything was very good but as soon as the server found out we were not planning on having dinner she essentially ghosted us. We still tipped her very well hoping it will boost her Evening and remind her not to brush off a table just because they are not having an entree. I look forward to going back. Everything we ate and drank were very good. I am eager To try more items. It was a nice place for celebrating with friends“

“The Valley is like no other place in the area. Best chicken 🐔 and seafood and qasudeilla around but what makes this place so special is the owners. They care about the place and the customers. a regular home burnt down. they rasied 2 k for them. food drive for people in need. They give back to the community. A cast of regulars that make everyone feel welcome. Trivia on Tuesday is just fun.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our New Years Eve dinner at Longhorn. The wait was 45 mins. + as expected for a table of 4. When our wait exceeded that, and my spot on the list (link connected to text) appeared to be 11th, I decided my kids and I will head somewhere else with faster service and try again another time. I approached the hostess to notify her and was assured we were only minutes away of being sat and that the link was oftentimes misleading. Grateful for this, we, of course, stayed. Our meal was surprisingly timely and delicious despite the full house and our server Kyle was outstanding. I heard many other servers apologizing for a delay or long wait but, as far as me & my kiddos were concerned, it was just fine. We all enjoyed it and am quite content bringing the leftovers home for another meal.“

There is a piano in the main dining area, though it was not being played during our visit, the vibe of the restaurant conveys it would be an amazing piano bar experience. Oh, did I mention the food was fantastic? There is a bar and lounge upstairs that offers a small and relaxing getaway from the main area on the first floor. Will go back often!“

You are allowed to smoke in the bar, so if cigarettes bother you, it's probably not the place to go for you. You can take your drinks into the bowling alley and play a few games while you drink!
