“For awhile, there was some turnover in the cook staff and the service and food was not very good to be honest. Some of these issues seem to have been fixed and changes have been made for the better. Service is much faster and food quality has improved. If you haven't been there in some time, give it another chance. I'm glad to be patronizing again.“

Plenty of parking in front to the carry out building. Easy in & out even when the traffic picks up.

“One of York’s hidden gems! We have eaten here several times and have never had a bad meal. In my opinion, consistency is what will bring you back to a restaurant time and time again. The Roosevelt Tavern is definitely one of those places. Atmosphere is very nice, quiet with great music in the background where you can actually have a conversation while enjoying your meal. Our waitress was Alyssa she was wonderful helping me with my food allergies very thoughtful you have a wonderful worker in her.I had the ham with baked potato and cottage cheese my husband had the 2 smoked pork chops with a baked potato and cucumber salad the meal was wonderfully cooked well and so delicious Thank you for a great experience eating at you restaurant.“

“Went on a busy Friday night but hostess was able to accommodate myself and two daughters. I was in a rush and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of service by the wait staff and kitchen. Everyone was pleasant, food was excellent (kids had burgers and fries and I had the chicken sandwich). Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!“

Personally I had the fried shrimp and house Mac and cheese and regretted none of it! The fried pickles were also somehow juicy but did not go soggy even after sitting for a good fifteen minutes. I was disappointed in the appetizer selection. There were 3 soups, Brussels sprouts and crab dip. I was hoping for a few more options as our friends don’t like Brussels and I didn’t want soup to snack on. So we had crab dip and a lite fair item. Everything was very good but as soon as the server found out we were not planning on having dinner she essentially ghosted us. We still tipped her very well hoping it will boost her Evening and remind her not to brush off a table just because they are not having an entree. I look forward to going back. Everything we ate and drank were very good. I am eager To try more items. It was a nice place for celebrating with friends“

But we don`t get there for breakfast much because you changed your hours. For us 10am is to late when you get up around 6am.Please try to open around 8am. “Returned to Perkins after many years as was in the area. About an 1 1/2 hour before close, just my wife and I in the place, some people leaving as we arrived. The waitress was flying solo and doing double duty as hostess and was fantastic (Hannah I believe). She gave good recommendations, friendly service. I got a big breakfast and my wife got a quesadilla. Both were great. I remember when they opened years ago, and while the building shows its age in some places, will be visiting again when in Hanover area. All day breakfast!“

But hadn't frequented the white rose after they went to a more upscale setting, my old high school homie suggested we go there and after we got seated I found out his out of town visit was for a death in his family that he assumed I knew about but I did not... now your staff being as great as you guys are and the food made this bad personal experience for us very nice otherwise, and it made me feel I may visit again sometime for lunch and a cold 🍺“

“We had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and my family really enjoyed everything. Our server, Emily, was exceptional! She was incredibly nice, pleasant, attentive, and made us feel so welcome throughout our entire meal.

They care about the place and the customers. a regular home burnt down. they rasied 2 k for them. food drive for people in need. They give back to the community. They always go the extra mile that most places would not think of doing. The food it self makes a must go place to eat. The owners make you feel like family. A cast of regulars that make everyone feel welcome. Trivia on Tuesday is just fun.“

“This was the first time that my wife and I ordered from 3rd Base, and while all we ordered was a Cheeseburger Sub and an order of fries, let me tell you that our dining room was eerily silent for 5-10 minutes as we both were so impressed and surprised at how damn good our meal was, that we didn't talk, share, or otherwise allow any outside interference as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. To me, the food is quintessentially some of the best Central Pennsylvania comfort food around and we are thrilled that the menu prices for burgers, subs, and appetizers were lower than expected, even though the quality and quantity of the portions were well above average. We have definitely found our new favorite go-to spot.“

“What a night! I finally took Cooper for his 1st Lobster. After watching lots of “Coyote Peterson” uTube videos for a couple months, he’d been asking me to take him to eat one. Today was the day. Thank you to Hanovers Red Lobster & their General Manager Michael, he gave us the ultimate educational experience & even sat down with us & showed Cooper how to eat it. Mike got the meat out while Cooper ate it 😂😂. Cooper loved every bite of it & dipped it in his “hot warm butter”. He suggested his 8 year old friend Mia, try a “no thank you bite” ( that’s my rule ! 😂) And, she liked it! It was so funny! Had a great time. Cooper had a blast & enjoyed having Mia join him too!! Would highly recommend the pork belly, the Mac and cheese bites and the meatballs (but I could go on to list every small plate on the menu)! Our server, Dakota, was absolutely impeccable. “had another great experience at Dylan’s Bar in East Berlin! I ordered the ribs with mac and cheese and curly fries, and everything was absolutely excellent. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly—they were just as good as the first time I came here and ordered them before. The mac and cheese was rich and delicious, and the curly fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly.

It’s always nice finding a place that stays consistent with both quality and service, and Dylan’s Bar definitely does that. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the visit.

“We came here for dinner on a Saturday evening in September. We saw on Facebook that a musician we like was performing. Facebook has this listed as Center Square Brewing but the sign outside still says underside bar.

We sat at the bar. We ordered drinks and then dinner. I had the cashew crusted chicken and it was good. It came with two pieces of chicken and I took one home as leftovers. The steak meal was very good as well.

The bartender was friendly and attentive. There weren’t too many people down there. The atmosphere felt like a basement - I mean, it’s a little dark because it’s down stairs and there is no windows and everything is brown or dark colors. It was casual and relaxed. Prices were comparable to most other local places we go.

Parking was a free paved lot adjacent to the building.“
