“The honey soy garlic Korean fried Chicken was some of the best I have ever had, if not the best. The Banchan was very good. The Pickled Chayote and Radish (Mu) were the stars for me. The Kimchi was good, but a little too spicy for me (I should've put in on the grill and cooked it a bit). The corn-cheese sausage as amazing. The Brisket was amazing. Pork belly was very good too, but I wish they had some Shiso or Red Leaf, so I could make a ssam. The ssamjang was very doenjang forward. Not sure if they have more than one type, but I prefer mine with more gochujang. Overall, Pocha Street is a must try.“

“The food (bulgogi birria tacos with salsa Verde and a side of churros) was fresh, well portioned, incredible tasting, perfect in texture, and drippy in the right way. The churros have a caramel sauce I can't wait to try but I downed all 3 tacos. Thank you!!“

“Stopped in for some lunch with my son after some golf, and it did not disappoint! Junior got the secret sauce rice bowl, and I got some wings for me and the family. The customer service was great and after a short we were able to enjoy our lunch! Great food all the way around, will be returning!“

“Wanted to try something different and everything that I saw coming from there had looked good and the smell made your stomach growl. I had the "stir frie noodles" with beef and the spicy 🌶 chicken wings. They were both wonderful! I throughly enjoyed my meal and would definitely go back there again! So glad I tried them!“

“I liked their Seolleongtang (ox bone soup) and stone pot bimbimbop! Their banchan (side dish) was fresh and yummy. I liked how their seafood pancake was very fluffy and not too oily. But if you’re more into crunchy ones you might not like it!“
“Unique and delicious spot at the Upper Darby H Mart food court. Love to order their jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) takeout. Authentic and chewy with good size portions. Easy to call over the phone. Simple and well priced. Service is excellent.“

“The lady who I assume owns this restaurant is such a sweetheart! Food was pretty good, service was great. Other restaurant owners in this food court are cold and reserved, which really deterred me from eating at the food court in general. Very affordable too, spent about $10 per person!“

“I'm rarely compelled to write a Google Review (in fact, this might be my first) but Tampopo on 44th is such a treasured part of living in this neighborhood. The atmosphere is warm. The staff are attentive and kind. The food is delicious and high quality.“

“We called the night before and made reservations for our party of 6 for lunch at 1:30 PM on Saturday (today). We arrived early and we’re seated immediately. Food was delicious and service was friendly and courteous. We had a mix of starters (beef jap chae, Korean fried chicken, Dakgangjeong & chili calamari), entrees (bulgogi, 2 Dolsot Bibimbop & ramen), table bbq (Joo Mul Luk Marinated ribeye & Samgyupsal Thinly sliced pork belly), and drinks. Entrees and table bbq comes with white rice, ban Chan, and veggies. We ate everything and we’re satisfied with happy bellies. The restaurant is quaint, nice atmosphere, and clean. Metered parking is available in front of restaurant. We recommend trying this place, and will be back again.“

“Toska (Töska?) is a laid-back two-storey restaurant in what I would say is the main drag (or village center) of Mount Airy. The décor is simple, spare, and there are attractive blown-glass-looking accents strung on cables. The server was quite friendly, which in Philadelphia is not a given. We ordered eggplant parmesan sitting atop fettuccine in the requisite marinara sauce, which my husband liked a great deal, and a Wagyu burger on brioche, which was surprisingly good: the bacon was done exactly right, not sliced too thickly, and the burger was medium-rare as I had asked. French fries are decent, certainly abundant, but they're a little flaccid (they are, however, "real" fries, not the heated-up deep-freeze variety we see so often). A salad with cucumber and fennel and small tomatoes was perfect, as was the burrata on a bed of arugula with slightly roasted small tomatoes and a vinaigrette. I like a slightly more room-temperature burrata and one that is a bit less firm, but this one was fine. The ambience is good, except that the much-touted wood-burning oven perfumes the entire restaurant a little more than it should. Also, it would be good to have sparkling bottled water on the menu.“

“The only other spot that I'm aware of the does wood charcoal Korean bbq is Kim's Restaurant( Kim's BBQ) in the Olney section of North Philly. The prices here at Nagwon Garden are way more affordable. Wood charcoal adds a nice flavor to the meat. Most other places use either electric or gas table grills. The other thing is, when you call them, the lady answers in Korean. They don't advertise that they use wood charcoal in English, only in Korean. So you know it's an authentic and legit experience! Take it from a Korean person.“

“I'm not sure what others do to hate this place so much, but I go on a fairly consistent basis, and I've been over 10 times now within the last 3 years. Most recent was a few days ago on my birthday. Every server we've ever had has always been extremely nice. Maybe a bit of a language barrier sometimes, but nothing a little patience can't get through. The cost of everything is insanely high right now, so the fact I can eat as much as I want of ANYTHING for under $50 is a pretty good deal in my opinion. What finally made me leave a review now, is that it makes me sad to see such nasty reviews, as my most recent experience was my favorite. Their kimchi is my favorite, and when we were done ordering meat, we asked if we could yet just a little more kimchi, I told her because it's the best ? she said of course, and brought over an entire chunk, cut it right in front of us, and put some in containers for us to take home. It was so sweet, and as minor as it may sound, it really made my day. That being said, if you're turned off by the prices, or don't have the patience to take a little extra time to communicate with someone, save them your attitude and go somewhere else.“

“This spot was great! The friend were really crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The sandwich was really flavorful and rich, and didn't have that "old oil" taste. I also got the boneless chicken batch which is a liiiittle pricy but also great. I believe the chicken used was thigh which is extra juicy. I have had a lot of Korean fried chicken spots in the area and this one is my new favorite by a long shot.
For non fried chicken options, the bulgogi beef was really really fantastic and rich.“

“First time trying Korean bbq. Our waitress Esther was super sweet and explained everything to a T. The marinated beef and chicken were tasty and the short rib she suggested was delish. We’ll definitely be returning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
