Food was excellent!!
Food was excellent!!
My husband and I stopped in last night at around 8:30pm. We had to wait a very long time to get drinks and food, but Carleigh was great about checking in with us. Some servers would be afraid to come back without the drinks, etc, but she was so nice, explaining that things were backed up. The food and beer/wine were great.

Champs Downtown is a fun and exciting spot to hang out with friends, watch a game, and enjoy food and drinks. With a lively atmosphere, complete with a DJ and dancing, it's a great place to let loose. The restaurant is a staple of the State College night life, offering great deals on food and drinks throughout the week. During the day, it's a wonderful place to catch a game and enjoy a decent meal. At night, Champs becomes a club with different DJs every night. The staff, including attentive bartenders, provide fast service and make recommendations. While the downstairs area may not be ideal for dinner due to loud music and limited seating, the restaurant offers a full menu of options, including the popular PIG MAC, which features pulled pork with mac and cheese on top. Though there have been some comments about the wings not being crispy enough, recent reviews highlight that they can be perfect when prepared right. The cozy, laid-back environment adds to the overall experience, making it a place highly recommended by visitors.
