“We stopped by the Legends Pub for an early dinner yesterday, (Monday): I had the "Happy Valley Charcuterie Platter," [i.e., which was amazingly-tasty with its array of different types of sliced cheese & sausage; marinated mushrooms; whole-seed mustard; fruit relishes/jams/jellies; toasted bread rounds, etc.!] ........................ and my husband had a Reuben Sandwich with Fries, [i.e., which he said was top-shelf "wonderful"!]!!Although the food is maybe a bit expensive ~(i.e., for this area)~ the portions were so generously LARGE that we both asked for take-home boxes, which our fantastic server Eric ............ [who, without fail through the years, has always been very attentive & accommodating every single time he's been our server!] ............ promptly brought out!! Today, we subsequently enjoyed our delicious "Pub leftovers"; so, all-in-all, we do think the Legends Pub is definitely a ~**Good V.a.l.u.e.**~, dollar-wise, you know!!Vegetarian options: Caesar Salad; Greek Salad; Spinach Salad."Grilled Vegetable Bruschetta": with Seasonal Diced Vegetables, Garlic Crostinis."Vegetable Panini": with Grilled Eggplant, Zucchini, Squash, Roasted Red Peppers,Provolone, Hummus, Olive Tapenade, Rosemary Ciabatta."Impossible Burger": with Caramelized Onions, Cheddar, Garlic Aioli,Pretzel Roll.“
“What a great basement bar. Absolutely love the old school vibe. Excellent variety of draft and bottle beers as well as some great mixology. Food is available from the Corner Room upstairs and will be delivered to your table. After restaurant closes they allow outside food to be brought in. Friday night had two live bands that were excellent. Can’t wait to return.“
“This is an interesting bar in downtown State College because it's right in the midst of everything (it is right next to the Gaff), but it has a very different vibe to it. It is attached to a nice restaurant so it is a more upscale casual than the super casual nature of the bars around it.It is interesting to go there because they have traditional furniture and makes you feel like you're in a place of some history. They make good cocktails, and this is a nice place to go if you're looking to enjoy the nightlife downtown without rowdiness or blasting music. It is a good place for conversation and the candlelit tables feel very intimate. It is not a huge place which will also get swamped on big weekends like Arts Fest and Blue and White.“
“We had a wonderful lunch at Otto’s. When I say that the Cobb salad was an incredible value I mean it. It was delicious. Well worth the very reasonable price.Enjoyed the beers! “Went for the live music. Pure Cane Sugar and JR & Veronica and the Band were both incredible. That place was on FIRE. Some kind soul opened up a slider door just to get fresh air for the folks dancing up a sweat storm.All the while, the front of house was quiet and chill. The bartenders were attentive and kind. The bathrooms were accessible and clean all night long (2 private women's bathrooms to 1 men's, well done CAFE 210 West).I didn't have any food, but the food I saw looked delicious!“
“Great tasting bacon burger and Cuban sandwich. Fries were just ok. They cost extra as a side and didn't seem like they were double fried, which would have made them better. It took about 40 minutes our order. I'm not sure what the typical wait time is here as this was my first time. Conclusion, I suspect all the sandwiches are excellent.“
“Excellent restaurant. Our party of four was seeated immediately at noon on a Saturday. The server was very friendly and helpful. But the star was the food, which was all amazing. The cigar rolls were a delicious appetizer, would highly recommend. And all our main courses were spectacular.“
“The wash is now called Rnw wash. I was there to use the free vacuums (which is awesome that that’s an option) and to get a wash. The machine jammed up after taking my money. I called the number available and reached Rodney (the owner). He went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of, and even gave me an upgraded wash. I really appreciated the service, and the respectfulness Rodney gave me. 10/10, I will be back!“
“We tried Otto's for the first time and would definitely return. The beers were good, I especially liked the apricot wheat. We ordered the slider baskets which were tasty and the fries were nice and crisp; and a special--mandarin orange chicken on a bed of jasmine rice which I thought was flavorful (the rice was crunchy in some bites) but the chicken was very tender and moist so it made up for the crunchy bites of rice. The brownie sundae was large but average. Our server, Leslie, was nice and helpful! We enjoyed the atmosphere and will return next time we are in town. I definitely would recommend giving Otto's a try if you have not!“
