“I ordered for pick up, the mixed cheese sub, with a light amount of cheese, and my order taker, a very nice sweet lady, said she’d go to the kitchen and make sure they put on only the three pieces of cheese I requested! I’ve ordered many times, and she’s always been so friendly and kind.”

“I eat here once a month - it’s where I go to relax. It’s down-to-earth and free of any pretentiousness. While the menu is basic, I’ve never been disappointed with the food. It’s always piping hot and tasty. They always have a real ale and a local ale on tap which I like. My only grumble is it’s hard to see the canned beer in the fridge: they really need a printed list.”

What a great local gem. I’m excited to try other items on their menu as well. The owner/manager stopped by our table and was very friendly. “This is one of the finest restaurants in Lancaster County and is always a great dining experience! They have an incredible beverage selection of specialty cocktails - absolutely try the Paper Plane if you are a bourbon fan. The appetizers are fantastic - my wife enjoyed the Gem Salad, and our friends raved about the shrimp special offered last evening. For the main course - two of our party had the Bronzino and expressed that it was prepared perfectly with the Maitre'd removing the bones table side - a very nice touch! i had the Shrimp Spaghettini - fresh shrimp in a savory pomodoro sauce. We highly recommend dining here - the staff is very professional, yet friendly and thorough. You are greeted warmly upon arrival and made to feel that they truly appreciate your dining with them. The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for conversation.”

Excellent experience cute super friendly Excellent food good prices and we got to watch the train pass by twice in a very short time. Very enjoyable experience very small but laid out very well. Excellent customer service, they were busy and right in the beginning they told us it might be a bit slower of service which was great communication and it really wasn’t slow in my mind. The owner was friendly and greeted everyone like family. Actually everyone felt like family in there- the atmosphere was amazing. Families, couples, older people, kids, everyone was there and it was nice! We had delicious food- chicken parm, a chicken lasagna with vodka sauce that was delicious and a delicious bowl of butternut squash soup! Bread was good too! We came here because we had a coupon but now we will be back more often! Thanks for providing excellent service and great food 👏🫶🏻”

“We have been doing takeout from Caruso's. We get their steak salads, cheeseburger subs, and garlic bread. Their food has always been decent portions and absolutely delicious. When you walk in the door, the staff is welcoming and very friendly. Only down side is the parking - the lot is not very big. It is sometimes difficult to find a place to park.

Parking: Their parking lot is behind the building and on the small side, considering the number of people that go there.”
