“Good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and live music. Menu is fairly limited, but normal pub grub done well. Service on arrival was pretty poor but stepped up once we were seated. Live music was a pleasant surprise, and not overbearing, we could still have good table conversation. Will visit again.”
“Loving these new(er) owners. I don't know why finding a good pizza place is so hard when you cross the PA boarder...We are very happy here! Just enjoyed a ginormous calzone. My son said his buffalo chicken pizza was the best ever...and the Caesar salad and garlic cheese bread were on point! So happy they deliver! Also find their food to be Much better than places that do not! Definitely check this place out if you haven't! Extra special thanks to the delivery man who went above and beyond apparently our ring isn't working and he actually found us on our back deck. A lot of places would have just left it on the front porch to get cold and leave us wondering why our food wasn't here. Super happy with this experience and our past few experiences. Thank you Tony's of Stockertown!”
“The food was great here. We had a variety of their pizza choices which were all amazing. I had the chop chop salad with chicken, which was fantastic. Dressing was the perfect amount. The chicken and salad was fresh. We will definitely be returning.”
“Great place! The restaurant is incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is always so welcoming and pleasant. The food is incredible, I've enjoyed everything I've ”
“This is a small spot that made it easy to overlook for the first couple years I was in the area. That was a mistake. The food here is really well prepared and the menu is great for both omnivores and vegetarians. The interior is pretty tight, so I wouldn't bring a large party to eat inside but even if you do, the staff was very friendly and helpful.”
“Let me tell you, I’m from the southwest and the food here is delicious. The lovely family restaurant has it right, the ingredients are fresh and the gorditas were great. Will be back soon to eat there again!”
“Today we ate at Amasi for the first time and it was fabulous. Great food, great service and nice atmosphere. If you are looking for something a little different than everything else around, you won’t be disappointed.”
“I stopped here for an order of tacos to go. Everything was fresh, the steak was seasoned to perfection and the presentment was awesome. The service was just as great. I will definitely stop in again when I’m in the area. I would also recommend for any1 craving some good Mexican/Tex Mex grub. Hands down 1 of the best in the area that I’ve tried.”
“Everything was wonderful. My wife and I ordered a smorgasbord of food and it was all delicious. The owners are very personable, accommodating and kind. The grocery store that it is connected to is great as well. We will be regular customers moving forward. Excellent! Thank you. Singh and Desi are a pleasure.”
“The Aman's experience always begins with a warm welcome from the owner, and on theater days he reminds us about notifying the server of the need for timeliness, and the suggestion about not cutting it too close to the opening curtain. Some performers will hold up patrons who have not entered the facility regardless of how long they were standing outside. Great tip, right? Food is always incredible and servers very timely and attentive. Just love the place!!”
“Went for the first time today and will most definitely be back. Loved the Cygan and Kuban sandwiches! Can't wait to taste all of the different sandwiches on the menu. Great Polish snacks and food selection as well!”
“Great coffee and treats. Got an iced coffee with spiced brown sugar syrup and it’s a 10/10 WAY better and cheaper than Starbucks. There was quite a long line but it took less than 5 minutes to get through, plus the coffee was ready fast. Fantastic service, delicious coffee, good prices, clean atmosphere!!”
“Best Pizza in the area! I’ve lived in this area for over 30 years and am always searching for better pizza as the pickings are slim here…this is the best so far. As in the other reviews, it is thin crust but does not droop over, which is great as it is crispy and not so much oil/grease. Owner is very friendly and cordial. Highly recommend this newer place, we will be back despite it being 25 minutes from our home.”
“The lemon-filled cake with real whipped cream icing was a hit at my mother-in-law’s 97th birthday celebration. I’ll be purchasing all of my special occasion cakes from Kumi’s in the future.”
“Best Christmas cookies anywhere!!! Also, the croissant-style pastries cannot be beat (ham/cheese, sausage, all kinds of fruit-filled, walnut). The cinnamon buns are outstanding, as is the cheese bread. I just wish they made those Christmas cookies all year! Also, the staff are super friendly and helpful!”
“I tan next door and walked by this place for months and had been wanting to go here....so made a reservation. Did not check menu or pricing so fiance was a bit surprised at prices...oh well. BUT...it was soon good and he agreed. The steaks were perfect, and the loaded potato...the asparagus could be grilled a bit or something. I got the raspberry something cocktail and it was so good! I love the atmosphere. I would go in just for drinks. Also please note, the sides are enough for two to share. I would absolutely dine here again.”
“We had a wonderful experience! It was a learning experience as well. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and process of cooking at the table. It provided an opportunity for my teenage son and I to spend quality time over a meal with actual conversation. The service was excellent! All of the staff took very good care of us and answered any questions. We will definitely return!”
“Great lunch . French onion soup was tasty but cooked to death. Onions were nothing but mush. Croutons did not make it a better. Cheese was melted perfectly. Then the wedge salad with lettuce that was crisp blue cheese that was not overwhelming, cut Grape tomatoes too green and bacon that was just right. Iced tea and service was exceptional. I would return many times if I lived nearby.”
“Taste Smokers catered the lunch for our student event at Penn State Lehigh Valley and it was amazing. Brisket, jerked chicken, slaw and mac and cheese were all amazing. It's not the first time we have had Taste Smokers and they do not disappoint. They made a large group of new fans in the students. Highly recommend everything they offer.”
“Called at 3:30. Continued to randomly call 40 more times. Got through at 4:00 ish. Ordered a pie and a cannoli. Got our dough for 8:00pm pick up. Coming from Jersey, 95% of local pizza shops are trash in PA. Sorry it is what it is. I can honestly say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. Just knocked Al Santillos in Elizabeth to #2. Sorry Al. The cannoli was banging too. Super friendly and nice. If you got the time I recommend giving them your business. Totally worth it.”
“Great place great beer! Bartenders are fantastic! Waiting on the Wit that’s hopefully on your brewcalendar, maybe a Hefeweizen one day too? Thanks for a great night”
“Insanely good value. You pay $16 for a huge pile of delicious and healthy food and then leave with a full, warm belly. This is the kind of food you can eat every other day as it doesn’t sit heavily in the stomach. The chili oil is addictive: deeply savory and aromatic with a hint of Szechuan peppercorn. It barely has any heat. Huge recommend.”
“The best and most authentic Italian food I've had in a long time. The restaurant is not fancy and the menu is small. But that's the point - because it's family owned and run, it's like having dinner at nonna's house. The portions are enormous and delicious.”
“First time here and it definitely won’t be our last! Severs were friendly and every aspect of our meal was delicious from start to finish. I love how they have pots of tea available. Can’t wait to come back soon!”
“Our first visit here. All of the food, sea bass entree, chicken shawarma wrap in saj, baba ghanuj, lentil soup and baklava was excellent. Randa was a most a gracious host. She made excellent suggestions regarding menu choices and provided alternative sauces to accompany the meal. We have tried most of the Mediterranean restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. This new restaurant, which goes all out to satisfy their customers with top notch food and service, is now our favorite.”
“Finally found a breakfast spot that goes beyond the standard omelettes, breakfast combos or an avocado toast. Where have sweet potato and cream cheese quesadillas been all my life? Imaginative menu, busy spot but staff was kind and worked like a well oiled machine. Good vibe. Will definitely be back.”
“We had a comfortable coffee date and the “Valentine Latte” tasted fantastic. The old mansion is really awesome to explore and we loved seeing the birds. Looking forward to coming back for another coffee date, and when the weather is nicer to also sit outside on their cute patio.”
“Great coffee shop with a modest selection of pastries. Very creative offering of espresso drinks. Amazing homemade teas. If you have a coffee fantasy, go here and they will realize it for you.”
“Coming here for the last seventy five years?. Know their ice cream?Came here long time ago with my grand pa? I think cones were 5 cents??Today 1/2 gallon Almond Joy, with whole almonds, yummy”
“Food is consistently good, it's become one of our regular spots. The sourdough grilled cheeses are really good and my husband says the fried chicken sandwich is one of the best he's had.”
