“I’ve visited the creamery at the farm and in their store. This is the best ice cream I’ve eaten!! I also had a pastry for breakfast. I think was called a rolled pastry or similar. It has several layers of ham and cheese inside a really tasty buttery pastry that looks like a French croissant. It was delicious!!“

“My husband and I were on a small getaway and discovered this treasure. I am an ice cream lover and must tell you that this is hands down the BEST ice cream I ever had. My husband profoundly agrees! He wanted to go again before we left but it wasn’t possible. We’re already trying to plan another trip down just to go to Fox Meadows. Also, the staff was so friendly. The you g woman who waited on us was extremely friendly and provided us samples to try. Since it was our first visit we were also given a free beverage each! We 💯 percent recommend!!!!!“

“Splits & Giggles is one of our favorite things about living in Lancaster. Delicious ice cream, pleasant and efficient staff, and the lovely outdoor patio. Owner Dave recently brought the ice cream cart to our gathering of family and friends and everyone raved. Thank you Dave and staff!“

“Not a scooped, but as the name implies, rolled ice cream. Coffee flavor was great. Diet coke is good. Nice little hideaway near mid town.
Street or lot parking. Easy walk from hotels. Good place for kids and families. There are steps, so mobility for a wheel chair might be difficult.“

“Hmmmmm…I thought the ice cream was one of the most unique things I’ve seen here. They pour the cream on a freezer plate and smash and spread it into a frozen thin sheet and the cut and roll it into rolls so they can place it in a cup. Really cool to watch and even better to eat!!! Lastnight, I had Cookie Dough and tonight I had Cookies and Cream! Both excellent choices to finish the night after an evening of live music! “If creamy is your thing, then, yah, they've got you. Chocolate and vanilla options. More options for Italian ice. Lots of outdoor seating. A little bit pricy, and chocolate flavor was a bit weak. Overall not bad. Customer service was good.“

“This is our go-to for birthday cakes. Phenomenal quality and pricing for what you get. I'm not a big sweets guy but I love these cakes. The icing is creamy and not that sweet, and there is cake, ice cream, and CRUNCHIES inside. Reminds me of the Carvel cakes we enjoyed as kids. This is a solid local enterprise and I highly recommend!
My understanding is they make their own ice cream (off site) but would confirm with owners if that is important to you.“

“Nicole has to be one of the nicest clerks I have ever met in a store, always willing to go the extra mile and when she found out, I drove all the way from Baltimore to come to the store. She gave me her number and said to call her when I am headed there and she will make me up a fresh batch of my favorite pralines. She really does go the extra mile and I look forward to coming back to see you all during the holidays. Your pralines are made exactly the way my grandmother used to make them and I can’t wait to share them with the rest of my family. Thank you Nicole for being. Delightful every single time I come into River Street Sweets! I’m sure you know who I am. I’ll be seeing you soon to stock up for Thanksgiving!“

“The absolute best place locally to get ice cream. I highly recommend the Blue Goo. We go there weekly. Dog friendly, accessibility friendly. Please note there isn't a bathroom on the property. The outdoor furniture is always clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. We look forward to seeing them each summer season!“

“Quite possibly the best soft pretzel I’ve ever had! Nice and buttery! The cheeseburger wasn’t great and the cheese was cold, but for the price I’m not mad. Also, that’s on me for getting a burger from a barbecue place lol I’m sure the chicken was great. They only took 1 order at a time which made the wait longer than expected. There was a nice little picnic area on wood chips right next to it, which was nice.“

“This was something like my 3rd visit. It is an absolute must when coming to Amish Country. Make it a jumping off place for your exploring. The baked goods are amazing, the service is friendly, efficient and well thought out and the ambiance lets you begin to feel that you have really stepped away from your busy, modern life. Great for families, tourists or those who just want a to slow down.“

“Warning! The stickers by the napkins and silverware that look like they’re free ARE NOT FREE. It’s really dumb that they have them there bc you get the impression that you can take these cute little stickers, which I almost did until my eye caught the teeny tiny price list mounted on the wall. They really should reconsider that whole situation. Aside from that the ice cream cake I ordered was a hit and well priced. Waaaay better than DQ!“
“We drove over 175 miles just to stop at Whispering Pines Farmstand & BBQ in Bird in Hand, and it was absolutely worth it! The setting is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by Lancaster County farmland. We had the half chicken with cheese fries and sides, and everything was cooked perfectly, tender, flavorful, and full of that amazing smoky BBQ taste.
The desserts were delicious, the kind you think about long after you’ve finished eating. The farmstand also has fresh local produce and goodies, all reasonably priced. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and you can really feel the pride and care that goes into everything they do.
Totally worth the drive. Great food, great people, and a true Lancaster County gem!“

“Of course I came for the ice cream! They have burgers and fries and other foods, but I was there for the ice cream and they didn't disappoint. The restaurant seating area was clean and well stocked with the extras needed for a meal. Next time I'll order a meal, but on this visit it was all about their delicious ice cream.“

“The three of us went for a late lunch and even though we had to wait about 20-25 minutes to get a seat, the staff for the most part were really friendly. One of the waitresses has been there for a long time and is always super friendly to my mom and I. Food came out fairly quickly and tasted wonderful“

“This is our normal go to place to order pizza but today was a little special. We had ordered a large pepperoni pizza with the pepperoni in the shape of a number 4 for our daughter's 4th birthday today and a large cheese pizza. Not only did they make the 4 but they also left a little note for her in the box. Then when it was delivered the young man who delivered made sure to wish her a happy birthday. Thank you guys for doing this for her.“

“Usually I love this place. The day I went, the burger bun was cold and dry, the pretzel had no salt. Ordered thru the app, but couldn't check in when I got there. Had to go up to the door to let staff know I was parked. The drinks, as usual, were great. Love Sonic ice! Wish there was one closer to my house.“
