“Reservations for 1:30pm on a Sunday so it was quieting down; comfortable and cozy and clean! Had the Shakshuka and the marinara sauce was delicious. Also had Gnocchi Sardi and Orecchiette ~ so between the 3 dishes, wasn't sure which was going to be the "last bite" of flavor. Decided on the toast and Shakshuka. Brussel sprouts a nice portion to share. The TOAST was so simple yet so crunchy and buttery, had to order more and it was only $4 for a 2nd order. Brought a Rose champagne for the brunch and a red for the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Cinnamon Bun to top off the meal. French Press Coffee to boot. Try RYE before you die!“
“I was simply happy that the Delta Hotel had a restaurant that was still open when I checked in at 9 pm. Initially put off by the fact that bar and restaurant are in the same space. Also they need to bus tables faster. Cleanliness is reason for loss of a star. Ordered caprese skewer and hot grain dish. Zero expectations. Oh my. This chef needs to have a bigger restaurant to showcase his talents! Both dishes beat expectations by a million miles. Spices for the hot grain dish were phenomenal. Seriously, I would go out of my way to eat here. Olivia was my server. A++++. Thank you, Olivia! May Life be kind to you.“
“Haven't been here in years but it is still delivering a great culinary experience! We had great Cab that we were able to taste before ordering(Lyle Thomas), and both entrees salmon and pasta ragliatore(sp?) were wonderful. The pot de crene for dessert was out of this world decadent and delicious. Fun night! Our server was awesome! Nice chill late Sunday afternoon vibe“
“Finally, Swarthmore finally has a first class restaurant! The Village Vine is under new management/chef and it is wonderful. The original owners were more interested in having a good wine bar and the food suffered. Give them a try. You'll like it!“
