The food and drinks were all fabulous - Bar Jawn has a chill, relaxed atmosphere but boasts an elevated bar menu that is so much more and so far beyond typical bar food! Some of our favorites were the drunken ravioli, the buffalo arancini (so inventive!!!), the chicken parm (make sure you get it with ravioli!), the mozzarella triangles (mozz sticks with an upgrade!) and the eggplant stack! I was at The Ridley House on Saturday night (May, 11) and even though she was very busy with other customers she took time to treat me like I was her only customer!. I never experienced that level of customer service before. I am disappointed that she does not work behind the bar anymore because I thought she was a great bartender and cared about her customers!. “Ordered takeout and it was out of this world as always. When I called they were super busy and I let them know I will wait if Chef can accommodate and I provided my order. Let them know I’m right down the street and just need a 5 minute notice and they would call back when it wasn’t busy - they called me back in less than 30 minutes and said ready in 10 minutes. I love the fact that if they are too busy and can’t accommodate at that time they’re honest. It’s a small family business the Mom is the host and probably one of my favorites she is like old school south Philly meets Mother Theresa! The chef is a perfectionist and I always try at least one special and have never regretted it. I am utterly amazed each time at the dishes he comes up with. Overall price wise they cannot be beat, huge portions and every bite was heavenly. Where can you get this much fresh, delicious food for under $100 no where except New American Bistro. It’s also extremely rare to get take out and it be as good as served in the restaurant. The beet with pistachio encrusted goat cheese salad with raspberry dressing. This salad had it all! Everything was so fresh and crisp. There were so many bursts of flavor. This was a special hopefully it will be added to the menu. Rating: 5/5 Spicy crab chowder - we always order. It’s my husband’s favorite soup. Rating: 5/5 Blackened Scallops with Raviolis and Lobster Sauce - we always order. Appetizer size comes with 4 blackened scallops and a couple ravioli. Rating: 5/5 Maryland crab cake with Ravioli and pesto sauce. This was my first time trying and typically does not get pesto dishes. This had so much flavor and was refreshing if that makes any sense. Appetizer size comes with a very large crab cake and a couple ravioli. Rating: 5/5 Gnocchi's with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat and Gorgonzola Sauce- this is my absolute favorite dish. The Gorgonzola sauce you could drink. I dip the homemade bread in the sauce after. It’s my favorite. I’m a huge Gorgonzola fan I put it on everything. The Gorgonzola sauce on this particular dish I find to be mild and perfection. I just woke up thinking of this dish it is so unbelievably good. Rating: 5/5“

The atmosphere is nice and so are those waitresses. In waiters, the food is really good too.
The last time we went there was a waitress that was very knowledgeable about the menu. And the drink menu as well. I really enjoy visiting this Applebee's.“

“In town for work at Logan Township, New Jersey from Indianapolis. Was recommended this place based off the food and atmosphere. The food was delicious and atmosphere did not disappoint. All the workers were super friendly and made it overall a great experience. Can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in New Jersey for work.“

“Thank you for the Dine and Donate event on April 17 supporting The Timothy School. The food was delicious! The pretzel nuggets were warm and tasty and it was cool to see the crowd applaud the Phillies during the game. Our waitress Victoria couldn't have been nicer.“

“I traveled from Atlanta to Union Steaks, and it was worth it! Perfectly located by the Philadelphia United arena, the cheese steaks are among the best in the area. Soft bread, fresh peppers, and onions made every bite delightful. Bonus: the entire menu is Halal! The staff is friendly, and their cheese steak nachos are a must-try. Can't wait to try more next time I'm in town.

“This is our local Applebee’s and we love coming here on a Friday night to catch up on our lives, eat some good food and relax and unwind. The atmosphere is chill and homey with big, comfy bench seats and oak woodwork bathed in a warm glow of colorful, easy on the eyes, hanging lights. Lots of TVs with favorite sports channels and walls full of local memorabilia. Our waitress, Chrissie, was so nice and helpful and hung out a bit to talk. This is by far a favorite place to go out to eat. Lots of memories and meals. Always a pleasure.“
